How Your Donations Help
- $10,000 can send our mobile health unit to an area of need, providing primary care and screening services at no cost to patients, in a community designated as a medical desert. 2 visits to medical deserts to provide free healthcare for all patients seen in that area.
- $26 can help break one of the biggest barriers to healthcare- transportation. 1 Patient's transportation to and from one appointment.
- $26 also offsets the copay for patients with financial constraints. 1 patient's copayment for treatment.
- $100 can offset the cost of a medical visit, a portion of testing, and a portion of labs. 1 comprehensive visit for 1 patient.
- $500 can offset the cost of mammograms and cervical cancer screenings. 5 cancer screenings for women in need.
- $1,000 can help offset the cost of 10 patient visits with labs and increase operating hours, allowing increased access to care. 10 visits at no cost to the patient.

Joseph, like 40% of Black men in America, hadn’t seen a doctor in over a year. He believed he was healthy, and despite having insurance, found doctor visits cumbersome. Then one day, everything changed. Joseph fell so ill that he had to be hospitalized. Even after his release, his symptoms lingered. Seeking relief, he visited a pharmacy clinic. Given Orange County’s high rates of HIV transmission, the provider recommended testing for HIV and other STIs. When Joseph learned he tested positive for HIV, his world turned upside down. Unsure where to go next, he turned to a friend who recommended 26Health. Within 48 hours, Joseph was seen by one of our providers. He began treatment immediately, starting his journey toward becoming undetectable. With care for the whole person in mind, he was connected with our behavioral health team. With ongoing support from 26Health, Joseph is learning to manage his condition, reclaiming his health, and rebuilding his future.
