Pledge to make a difference, together.
HSC was founded in 1973 as a national voluntary health charity.
The Huntington Society of Canada (HSC) is a national network of volunteers and professionals united in the fight against HD. Together, we:
Strengthen families as they cope with each progressive loss, thanks to a network of HSC Resource Centres and individual and family service professionals across the country. Provide day programs, support groups, summer camps, in-service seminars, counselling, resource materials, and referrals for Huntington's families. Educate healthcare professionals about HD through seminars, care manuals, and video resources. Partner with globally rewith globally respected research organizations on research into areas that hold the most promise for a treatment or cure. Offer postdoctoral graduate scholarships to encourage more young scientists as they begin their careers. Lead 30 volunteer chapters and area representatives from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island.
