Our Mission

The Regroupement pour la Trisomie 21 (RT21) is an non-profit organization that represents hundreds of families in Montreal and the province of Quebec affected by Down Syndrome.

For over 25 years, the organization has committed to offering direct services of support and personal accompaniment, as well as creating activities that encourage our members to reach their full potential. We accompany parents from the moment they receive a diagnosis, offering information and support. Our early intervention programme (physiotherapy, occupational therapy) is offered to children aged 0-2 that are on waiting lists for public services. Countless activities are organised for our families, such as the Christmas party, the outing to the sugar shack and many others.

Finally, the RT21 also organizes fundraising events that build awareness, such as the THREE, 2, 1, GO! Race in August, which gather a great number of our partners from different backgrounds.
