Set in the stunning scenery of Mount Megantic, the ASTROLab is a museum and a centre of activities in astronomy dedicated to the public. Through these activities you can visit the most powerful observatory in Canada, see fascinating exhibits and experience the story of the Universe in HD in the multimedia room. In the evening, people can contemplate one of the last true dark sky in southern Quebec an Canada. Two public observatories and many observation instruments give you the opportunity to discover the wonders of the Universe.
The ASTROLAB is also the organization behind the International Dark Sky Reserve Mont Mégantic, the first of it's kind in the world. In collaboration with many partners, the ASTROLAB guide this unique to project and preserved, for present and future generations, the priceless natural heritage that represents the starry sky.
