The Society is the oldest and largest animal protection organization in New York's Capital Region, receiving an average of over 6,000 animals per year. To carry out our work for the animals, MHHS receives no ongoing funding from federal, state or local governments or any other animal welfare organization. We rely on your generous donations to support our vital services for the animals.
The Labelle Foundation is a Los Angeles foster-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue devoted to saving, rehabilitating, and advocating for dogs. Through engaging the community far and wide, The Labelle Foundation aims to serve the animal rescue community by specializing in neonatal orphans, medical dogs and mothers and babies. Their goal is to help the animals they rescue find loving forever families, save as many lives as possible, and educate on the importance of responsible dog ownership.
Animal Wellness Foundation rescues animals either from the Los Angeles area animal shelters or by other means and provides the necessary veterinary services in order for the animals to find their forever homes. The foundation holds adoption clinics where individuals and families can adopt the rescued animals. The foundation also provides veterinary care to many pets of low-income families.
