Animals
Everglades Outpost

Their main objective is to take in hurt and injured wildlife, rehabilitate it, and release it back to the wild. If it weren’t for them, these animals would have to be put down. Most of the animals residing at the Everglades Outpost have been confiscated from illegal or abusive situations by Wildlife, Fish and Game Officers, or have been abandoned by their human owners. Their rehabilitation facility provides medical care and treatment to the sick and injured. Whenever possible, the animal is released to its natural habitat. The animals that cannot be returned to the wild are placed in suitable homes, or remain under their care.

Animals
Bunny's Buddies

Hearing that over 30,000,000 animals are being subjected to torment and abuse leaves us with a heavy and hopeless heart, however, our goal is to stay as optimistic as we can with only one mission in mind- to save as many animals from this horrific outcome as we can. We work closely with some amazing organizations in China to not only rescue and repair these damaged souls but then, to actually get them into loving new homes. Once these animals are rescued straight from meat trucks, shelters, or slaughterhouses, they must enter a 2-month quarantine in which they are seen by professional Veterinarians and tested for illnesses and disease. Once cleared, we work hard to find them the absolute best, new homes that simply want to restore all that they have lost. We know we may not save them all but surely, we’re going to try.

Saving Grace Animals For Adoption

Animals
Lost Dog Rescue Foundation

LDCRF is actively involved in taking in and finding new, loving homes for at risk cats and dogs. In this process, LDCRF ensures that these animals are temperament tested, current on all necessary vaccinations, and either spayed or neutered prior to becoming available for adoption. LDCRF conducts public adoption events at area Petsmarts on weekends. These events are staffed by volunteers who interview prospective adopters, answer questions about the animals, and take advantage of the opportunity to educate the public on the benefits of spaying and neutering; the need to obtain proper veterinary care; and of providing basic training to their pets. They await adoption in foster care and at the kennel facility located in Falls Church. The rescue also has a ranch, home to rescued farm animals.
