To make a difference in our community by rescuing stray, homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer provide care for them. To educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. To work with committed volunteers, fosters homes and local veterinarians, to achieve our goal of saving lives. To ensure that each pet is adopted into a secure, loving home where they are treated as valued family members.

Train people in the scientific protocols needed to detect, interpret, record and monitor wildlife tracks and sign so they can be used to gauge the status of wildlife and habitat in their communities.

Greyhound Rescue of New York,Inc is a small strictly volunteer 501(c) 3 group dedicated to finding homes for retired racing greyhounds since 1995 .

We place purebred Labrador Retrievers in suitable, loving homes. Our Labs come from, and are placed in, homes in 5 New England states. We do not place dogs over the Internet. We offer a life-time take-back policy on all dogs we place.

We are a group of individuals who are dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of Chinese Cresteds and other hairless breeds in need. We provide compassionate aid, veterinary care and loving temporary homes while working on finding the ideal permanent situation for each dog. We also work to educate the public about the breed so that there maybe fewer Chinese Cresteds needing to come into rescue.

Wet Nose Rescue works hard to help those who are unable to help themselves. Their goal is to help abandoned dogs and puppies that would otherwise be euthanized or subject to a life in extremely poor conditions, unloved and neglected. They try to place the right dogs with the right families and keep the adoption process as simple as possible.

To fill a need in the community and provide a permanent and loving home for these birds.

The primary mission of a Mounted Search & Rescue Unit is the establishment of a well-trained and fully equipped Search & Rescue Team, capable of serving the public as a qualified resource that assists in locating lost or missing persons in a timely and efficient manner without endangering the searchers or further hazarding the lost person.

The mission of National Samoyed Rescue is to act as a service organization providing resources, support, networking, and guidance to assist existing Samoyed rescuers and help establish new rescue groups in areas lacking coverage. By fostering relations between rescues and regional breed clubs, breeders, and fanciers. NSR strives to enable humane, ethical, and effective rescue of Samoyeds in need across the United States through the substantiation and verification of its' affiliated rescues practices thereby ensuring that shelters, humane societies, and the general public are confident in their local Samoyed rescue representatives. Funding for the Samoyeds under the care of our affiliated rescues is available upon a case-by-case basis.

Tier Haven is committed to giving the German Shepherds and working dogs of Kentucky a second chance and providing a bridge between shelter and adoptive home.

KSRF is dedicated to providing financial assistance for the medical expenses of purebred rescued Keeshonden in foster care. KSRF is NOT a rescue group - it does NOT take responsibility for fostering or placing rescue Keeshonden. KSRF exists solely to raise and distribute funds to help defray medical costs incurred by individuals or rescue groups to which a foster dog belongs. KSRF's original mission focused on funding for Keeshonden rescued from puppy mills, but its scope has expanded over the years to aid dogs in foster care, regardless of origin. However, the organization retains its commitment to helping puppy mill dogs. KSRF is a Minnesota Not-For-Profit Corporation. Under IRS Code 501(c)(3) most gifts are tax deductible; check with your tax advisor.
