The mission of PAWS Atlanta is to build a community of caring, by people helping pets and pets helping people. We are a private, not-for-profit animal welfare organization founded in 1966, originally as the DeKalb Humane Society. We provide love, nutrition, medical care and basic training to enrich the lives of homeless animals until permanent, safe homes can be found.

The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) is a private nonprofit organization whose mission is to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness.

Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) is a 501(c)(3) No Kill animal organization that provides the programs and initiatives to directly address the shockingly high, needless euthanasia rates seen in animal shelters in Central Texas and all over the U.S. Since its creation in 2008, APA! has helped Austin become the nation’s largest No Kill city, pushing the cities save rate from 45% to over 98% in only 10 short years. APA! has saved over 10,000 lives, leading the way in developing comprehensive, innovative programs that target and rescue those most at risk of dying in other shelters such as animals with behavioral concerns, many common diseases, and neonatal kittens. Not stopping with this local success, Austin Pets Alive! is committed to helping more communities achieve No Kill status by teaching other rescue groups and shelters about APA!'s innovative and lifesaving programs and by extending APA!'s services to more shelters and pets throughout Texas. In 2018, the organization began building out its Maddie's® Lifesaving Academy, bringing over 400 students annually to its central facility in Austin and to the city's shelter, Austin Animal Center, to learn how to replicate Austin's outstanding success in No Kill practices. Additionally, the academy allows APA!’s expert staff to travel to, consult with, and mentor shelters and groups in other communities in their efforts to become No Kill.

Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform more than 52 million households by working in partnership with the communities we serve. Our programs support entrepreneurs around the world, creating lasting change from the ground up. It begins with a seed investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business, and ultimately to gain access to supply chains and markets. These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders. By supporting and training the world's farmers, ranchers, and female business owners, we're investing in a new breed of success. The HIT Living Foundation has come to fruition through the willingness to act on compassion for others and by doing so with open hearts and objective minds.

The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. The Ocean Cleanup has three core approaches to tackling plastic pollution: 1) Clean legacy ocean plastic - Since 2018, The Ocean Cleanup has deployed technologies to remove plastic that has accumulated in ocean garbage patches. It's current system (System 002) has removed more than 225,000 kg of plastic from The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. 2) Turn off the tap: The Ocean Cleanup also develops and deploys Interceptor technologies that prevent plastic from reaching the oceans via rivers, focusing on 1000 rivers that are responsible for 80% of riverine plastic pollution. To date, 19 Interceptor solutions have been deployed across 8 countries. 3) Research: In the process of understanding the problem, The Ocean Cleanup has become a global leader in field research on marine plastic pollution.

The Connecticut Humane Society (CHS) is the leading resource in the state for companion animal welfare; enriching the lives of families and communities through adoption services, medical care, education, and prevention of cruelty. Four core values bring this mission to life: stewardship, quality care, community, and respect.

The Marine Mammal Center is a nonprofit veterinary hospital, research and educational center dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of ill and injured marine mammals, primarily elephant seals, harbor seals, and California sea lions. Its research team studies the causes of illness in these animals, and by doing so, learns about conditions affecting the health of marine mammal populations and the oceans – discovering conditions that can affect humans as well. In addition, the Center’s education programs teach thousands of students and the visiting public each year about marine mammals and the urgent need for environmental stewardship of earth’s marine environments.

To build no kill communities – starting with a no kill Chicago – that respect and value the life of every cat and dog. To end the overpopulation of homeless animals through solutions, practices and education. To transform animal welfare by setting higher standards in the way animals are treated and developing a sustainable, solutions-based model.

Mission Blue is an initiative of the Sylvia Earle Alliance (S.E.A.) to explore and care for the ocean. We draw inspiration from the vision of our founder, Dr. Sylvia Earle, to ignite public support for the protection of Hope Spots – special places that are vital to the health of the ocean, the blue heart of our planet. By uniting a coalition of partners from around the globe, we are committed to inspiring an upwelling of public awareness, access and support for a worldwide network of marine protected areas ranging from the seamounts of the high seas to shallow sunlit reefs, and to supporting a significant increase in ocean protection from less than three percent today to 20% by the year 2020.
