Underlying this mission is a strong commitment to educating the public about the importance of spaying, neutering, and the responsibilities of long-term pet ownership.

CAT RESCUE  Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue is a 501c3 not-for-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to the fostering and rehoming of purebred cats throughout the Midwest. Our foster-based program and qualified foster people are committed to providing the best care for the cats in their charge and sending them on to quality, pre-screened permanent homes. The cats accepted into our care are evaluated for physical and temperamental issues and unless either of these aspects is severely compromised, the cats stay in our care until adopted. Our mission is to get each cat to the right person and take back any of our unwanted cats throughout their lives.

Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc., about to celebrate its 20th anniversary, saves the lives of and provides a safe, healthy and loving forever home to cats who would be declared un-adoptable and immediately euthanized in high-kill animal control facilities because they are blind or test positive for FIV or feline leukemia. Without this sanctuary, they would have been euthanized. We continue to pursue our mission of educating the public about these cats and their ability to be loving family pets through our strong and ever-growing social media presence, 24-hour access cameras, regularly scheduled open houses, tours and volunteer opportunities. Using these tools, BCR’s global following continues to grow and its reach expand, demonstrating for people and other organizations about the true nature and abilities of blind, FIV- and feline leukemia-positive cats. Going beyond the shelter walls, BCR also works to alleviate the suffering and overpopulation of cats in feral populations through our ongoing spay and neuter program.

Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue is a non profit, State Licensed, ALL Volunteer organization that helps homeless or abandoned Shetland Sheepdogs; also known as "Shelties".

As an educational and recreational resource, the Zoo serves over 1.2 million people every year. It also provides special educational programs for over 560,000 children, teachers, and other adults. With the Zoo's broad reach and diverse constituency, the Zoo's mix of visitors mirrors the diversity of the local community.

The mission of the Lycoming County SPCA is to protect all domestic animals by providing shelter, emergency treatment, investigation and prosecution of cruelty or abuse complaints, adoption and counseling, education programs. and humane care throughout Lycoming County.

Linda Ann's Greyhound Adoption, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 registered adoption group devoted to the welfare of retired racing greyhounds. Their home base is in Allentown, Pennsylvania. They serve the needs for greyhounds in and around the Lehigh Valley area.
