Rivers Edge Horse Rescue and Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing abused, abandoned, unwanted and slaughter-bound horses and providing them with a sanctuary where they can live out the remainder of their lives with dignity and peace at a loving and caring facility.

Rescue and adoption of kittens under the age under the age of eight weeks is our primary mission. We also fundraise to help cats in need of medical attention. Our work has extended into TNR.

Laws throughout the country treat companion animals as mere property, denying them basic rights often leading to their death. The Center pursues high impact litigation and legal challenges against archaic and constitutionally infirm animal laws to save these animals and advance their fundamental rights against government indifference and abuse. We have saved hundreds of animals in dangerous dog bite defense proceedings, pet custody disputes, evictions and other situations where the law does not protect them and their owners. The Center’s mission is to foremost save lives, protect at-risk animals and cause critical change in the law so it reflects the value people place on their animals today.

To promote the education and practice of people to live in integration, interconnection and harmony with the earth, plants, animals, and each other through best practices of agriculture, medicine, water, shelter, energy, and waste cycling.

The Global Veterinary Dermatology Education Group (GVDEG) is an independent international group of veterinary dermatologists who are committed to improving the knowledge and practice of veterinary dermatology in underserved areas around the world. The objective of the GVDEG is to enable veterinarians to recognize, diagnose and manage the most common dermatological diseases in their areas. We aim to accomplish this by offering free education through lectures, practical demonstrations, interactive discussions and the use of web-based educational sessions. Our long term goal is to identify, educate, empower and support local veterinarians with a keen interest in dermatology and willingness to lead local ongoing efforts in education and advancement of veterinary dermatology.

It is our mission to rehabilitate, provide medical care, and find forever homes for abandoned and neglected animals through our foster program. We concentrate on dogs and puppies on euthanasia lists throughout the south.

To prevent the 6th mass extinction

Their Mission is to help the horse others have forgotten, to teach the horse how to trust and to earn their love. They will find new forever homes for the horse that had no chance , and end the suffering of horse that without intervention will die a slow and painful death.

Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home pets. If pets fail to be adopted for any reason they will live out the remainder of their lives with them. They do not support euthanasia for the purpose of controlling pet overpopulation and endeavor to end this practice nationwide. It is their goal to provide community support programs that will preserve longevity in the relationship between family and pets. Their doors will be open to accept and protect animals from the threat of abandonment, abuse, or neglect.

The Sugar Glider Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, is a leader in comprehensive educational and nutritional research of sugar gliders (Petarus breviceps). Our organization was created with the desire to improve the health of sugar gliders in captivity. Together, our professionals and volunteers have a commitment to success through evidence-based research.

H.E.L.P. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to saving the lives of sick, injured, and elderly animals in the Los Angeles City Shelters.
