Rescue and rehabilitation of Mastiffs & Bulldogs

Adopt-A-Pet is an all-volunteer not-for-profit animal shelter and adoption agency dedicated to saving the lives of lost, abandoned or otherwise homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Founded in 1981, we have saved the lives of over 15,000 animals. All adopt-a-pet animals remain with us for as long as it takes to find them suitable permanent new homes.

Cairn Rescue USA, founded in November 2002, is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization which rescues purebred Cairn Terrier dogs and Cairn Terrier mixes nationwide that are homeless or soon-to-be-homeless, rehabilitates them in the private homes of its volunteers, procures them food and necessary veterinary care, and finds and screens loving forever homes to adopt them. CRUSA rescues its Cairns from animal shelters and similar facilities, as well as from puppymills and backyard breeders which often dispose of their old breeding stock at auctions. CRUSA also takes into its rescue program Cairns which need rehoming because they are being surrendered by their current owners for any number of reasons, ranging from death or terminal illness of the Cairn's owner, divorce, relocation, economic hardship, behavioral issues or illness of the Cairn, neglect, etc. Most of CRUSA's operations are conducted over the internet.

GSP Rescue New England is an all-volunteer organization committed to finding loving, permanent homes for German Shorthaired Pointers in need. We are a 501(c)3 organization incorporated in the commonwealth of Massachusetts and operate in Eastern NY (from Albany East) through all six New England states from CT to ME. Our primary goals are to find permanent homes for these great dogs that have come into an unfortunate situation, to promote responsible pet ownership and to improve the quality of life for the animals. These rescues could be from animal shelters or turned in by owners. We take care of their needs on arrival and then place them in permanent loving homes.

LTCR offers a chance for life for unwanted adoptable dogs that have found themselves at a high kill shelter. We offer them a place in one of our loving foster homes while we get to know them and learn what their ideal home would be. We meet ALL of our dogs, and our adopters We form lasting relationships with both. We are here to provide support in all areas of pet care including veterinary, behavior, nutrition and more. We are matchmakers that strive to place these dogs with their lifelong families so they will never be homeless or unwanted again.

Saving dogs and cats from inner city shelters.

SENC Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization recognized by the AKC-sanctioned Newfoundland Club of America to do all within its power to protect and advance the interests of Newfoundland dogs. The purpose of SENC Rescue, Inc.’s program is to rescue unwanted or homeless Newfoundland dogs and place them in good homes. We work within the guidelines of the Newfoundland Club of America's Rescue Committee.

Their Mission: " Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats at county shelters in Western NC. Every animal receives the medical care needed, is vaccinated, and cared for at our shelter or in a foster homes until a permanent home is found. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on grants and donations. We have a small paid staff of kennel attendants, but nearly everything we do is accomplished by volunteers dedicated to saving lives and making a difference for as many animals as possible."

To make a difference in our community by rescuing stray, homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer provide care for them. To educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. To work with committed volunteers, fosters homes and local veterinarians, to achieve our goal of saving lives. To ensure that each pet is adopted into a secure, loving home where they are treated as valued family members.

Train people in the scientific protocols needed to detect, interpret, record and monitor wildlife tracks and sign so they can be used to gauge the status of wildlife and habitat in their communities.

Greyhound Rescue of New York,Inc is a small strictly volunteer 501(c) 3 group dedicated to finding homes for retired racing greyhounds since 1995 .
