Our purpose is to undertake rescue operations and to provide essential care for orphaned, stray, abused and special needs cats and dogs.Through rehabilitation, socialization, and adoption, we endeavor to provide a humane service to all animals that come into our care. Additionally, we generate awareness about the prevention of animal abuse and neglect as well as spay/neuter programs and their important effect on the dog and cat overpopulation crisis.Through the years our mission has evolved from just rescue and adoption to community service and educational programs to improve the quality of life to all of the NYC boroughs and Long Island.

Ray of Light was established to provide a place where animals and people can form healthy connections in a safe environment. In addition, we aspire to be a healing presence in a wounded world. We are a non-profit animal rescue and animal-assisted therapy center and our organization operates programs involving horses that benefit the public and/or serve individuals with special needs, including but not limited to equine assisted activities and therapies. QBSDR's mission is to rescue special needs corgis and corgi mixes from California shelters and those looking to rehome their dog. We place great emphasis in rehabilitating both medically and behaviorally, providing a loving care until their "furever" home is found.

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter never euthanizes any animal for time or space reasons. Adoptable animals reside with us until they find their forever home. We become their loving family until they become a part of yours. Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that is solely funded by contributions, grants and bequests.

Rhode Island Parrot Rescue is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue rehabilitation of unwanted, abused or abandoned parrots. Our mission is to educate people on the proper care of parrots and parrot-like birds, their specific physical and psychological needs, rescuing companion parrots from harmful or unwanted situations and rehabilitating, when necessary, unwanted, found, or injured naturalized (free-flying) parrots; and offering these birds to qualified homes for adoption

Spirit’s Promise Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation rescues horses who have been abused, neglected, or unwanted. When these beautiful animals arrive, we give them a new educational and recuperative purpose. In return, they repay us with love, sensitivity, and an innate spirituality unique to the species.

Red Leash Rescue (RLR) is a not for profit rescue corporation with 501(c)3 status. We work with Animal Controls across Fairfield County and surrounding communities to build a strong Foster Team Network that provides safe refuge, love and care to discarded Adult/Senior dogs, until successfully re-homed. Our dogs will be up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Our long term goal is to complement our foster network with a RLR Foster Home for Adult/Senior dogs, enabling more dogs to be removed from the shelter environment, and if unable to get adoted, living the rest of their lives in a home setting cherished and cared for

WFSD is dedicated to providing free service canines to Veterans struggling from combat-related post traumatic stress while reconnecting them to the life they fought for.
