Service Dogs, Inc. is a 501/c/3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Service Dogs to those in need.

Our Charity is a rehab program for unwanted, neglected dogs that we save from being euthanized. We then train and socialize those dogs to become loving companions for trafficked, abused or disabled children and teens that have been saved and have recovered from a qualified rehabilitation program. NEER North actively rescues horses and donkeys in need. There are a wide variety of situations including owner surrenders, abuse and neglect, where these majestic animals are at risk of diminished health or, worse yet, heading to slaughter. NEER North is a safe haven where these animals are rehabilitated with the intention of adoption into new families. NEER North also networks closely with other like minded equine rescue organizations, assisting where needed.

Wildlife Response, Inc. (WRI) is dedicated to the preservation of wildlife through rehabilitation and education. One of the most universal challenges today in the battle to save wild things and wild places is how to bond people to the physical world in a powerful enough way to give them the motivation to want to protect and preserve it. It is especially important in our growing suburban and urban communities to increase significant associations connecting people and nature, especially where natural environments and natural experiences are less and less common. On a local level, the steady arrival of new residents to the Hampton Roads area is having a overwhelming impact on our wildlife and natural environment. As we accommodate this progression, it is essential that people who now call the Hampton Roads area home understand the sensitive balance of human and non-human populations, the affect we have on the natural environment, and the best ways in which we can coexist.

We create joy experiences for chronically and terminally ill children & their families by surrounding them with a Pile of Puppies.

Join-Up International, Inc is dedicated to promoting gentle, more effective alternatives to violence and force through educational courses and programs that impart Monty Roberts' concepts of non-violent, trust-building communication. Horses are used as examples and vehicles for this learning process. It is our intention to leave this world a better place for both horses and humans.

The mission of Monmouth County Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals is to protect and advocate for all animals. We are dedicated to enforcing animal cruelty laws; providing a safe haven for homeless, abused and abandoned pets while they await adoption; reducing pet over-population through spay/neutering; and cultivating their humane treatment through education and service as a valuable community resource.

Haven Humane Society is more than an animal shelter; we are a community-supported animal resource center providing compassion and care for all animals. Since 1952, Haven Humane has offered lifesaving programs and services for animals and the people who love them in the Greater Shasta County Area. At our Anderson campus, we provide shelter, dedicated care, and new beginnings for thousands of our community’s most vulnerable animals every year. In addition to pet adoptions and fostering, we focus on programs and services aimed at helping people care for and keep their pets, such as free and low-cost spay/neuter and vaccines, a pet food pantry, and licensing services. In 2023, Haven Humane helped more than 7,000 animals through adoptions, rehabilitation, lost & found, veterinary services, and Animal Regulations, and rescue.
