Austin, Texas based AjK Family Rescue is a non-profit foster based rescue, serving Central Texas and surrounding cities, we are dedicated to rescuing pets, primarily dogs left homeless in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, those that are owner surrendered due to unforseen or difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are a small rescue group made up of family, friends, neighbors and volunteers united by the love for animals that aim to make a difference in our homeless pet population by working together to provide temporary loving foster homes, veterinary care and eventual forever homes for hundreds of rescued animals each year.

At Michelson Found Animals Foundation, our mission is Saving Pets. Enriching Lives. We work to put pets in good homes and keep them there with a range of programs that encompass social enterprise and philanthropy. We operate the first free national microchip registry to help reunite lost pets with their families. With our Adopt & Shop retail stores, we've helped over 20,000 shelter pets find new homes - and reinvest retail sales proceeds to save more pets. And with our grant programs, we've facilitated millions of spay and neuter surgeries for low-income pet owners. We rescue dogs that rescue families. 1. To promote the use of Service Dogs by individuals with invisible disabilities. 2. When possible, to offer training to dogs already in the homes of individuals with psychological, emotional, or intellectual challenges. 3. To educate and train other Service Dog trainers on issues specific to individuals with invisible disabilities.

The mission of Orphan Acres Equine and wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Sanctuary, Inc is to provide care and rehabilitation for abandoned, neglected,abused  and malnourished horses and wildlife,while educating the public regarding the issues surrounding rescue and rehabilitation and all aspects of horse ownership and care.

Bosley's Place is a rescue orphanage for newborn puppies located in Atlanta, GA.By taking in and caring for the homeless and orphaned underage puppies, Bosley's Place frees up foster homes for other dogs that otherwise might end up 'on death row' due to overcrowded shelters, helping to save many more lives.

Leader Dogs for the Blind breeds and trains dogs (and future owners) to assist the blind. Our mission is empowering people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. Our mission is to improve the health of homeless animals and increase their chances for survival and adoption. Our ultimate aim is to eliminate animal homelessness and euthanasia. This promotes more humane treatment of animals, increasing their chances of survival and adoption. We:• Provide donated comfort and care items to shelters, rescue groups, pets of the homeless, pets of low-income seniors, pets of veterans, animal transports, fosters and wildlife sanctuaries.• Advocate for animal welfare through service-oriented humane education & public awareness anti-cruelty campaigns.• Raise awareness of the growing population of homeless animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems, promoting adoption as the best option.

We are dedicated to transitioning retired racehorses into second careers and placing them in the right home. We are based in Central Indiana and have facilities in both Indiana and Ohio. Established in 2005, FFI took its name from famed racehorse Ferdinand who earned four million dollars on the track and won the KY Derby, but was ultimately led to slaughter. Our mission is very clear - To promote equine welfare by providing chances for second careers to retiring racehorses in Indiana, Ohio and throughout the Midwest. We believe that it is a shame that retired racehorses who are sound, have the potential to be sound, have good minds and have options for a second career should face an uncertain future.

The mission of Teacher's Pet is to empower at-risk youth to improve in the areas of empathy, patience, impulse control, perseverance and hope. Participants are paired with hard-to-adopt rescue dogs for positive, reward-based dog training to increase the dogs' chances of becoming adopted and remaining in their homes permanently.
