Ohio Wildlife Center is dedicated to fostering awareness and appreciation of Ohio's native wildlife through rehabilitation, education and wildlife health studies.

Provide education, fostering and adoption of homeless animals

1. Save and rehabilitate adult and orphaned Wildlife that have been brought to the facility for release to their natural habitat. 2. To act as an advocate for native species among the general public and the Division of Wildlife. 3. To design custom programs to educate the populations about methods to prevent potential problems with wildlife. 4. To provide educational seminars tailored for specific groups about the care of animals wild and domestic.

A Place Called Hope (APCH) is a Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center made up of trained Wildlife Rehabilitators and volunteers who are dedicated to the Preservation of Wildlife.  Our goal is to rescue, re-nest, rehabilitate, and release wild Birds of Prey who have become injured, orphaned or ill with the intention of returning them to the wild after a brief stay at our Center. Those who can not return, due to their injuries often become ambassadors or faculty staff members who then help us to teach the public through educational presentations how to better co-exist with wildlife within one's very own backyard.

Dedicated to wildlife preservation through healing, rehabilitation and release back to the wild. We promote awareness and conservation efforts through education and outreach programs. We serve the greater Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas.

MISSION STATEMENT:PEAC is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to educating current and potential bird owners about the proper care of pet birds. Unwanted and found parrots are accepted at PEAC and are adopted to qualified applicants AIMS AND GOALS: Sharing current information and correcting misconceptions about parrots is the major aim of PEAC. Our goal is to stay current with the latest developments in the world of aviculture and to share this knowledge with our members and the general public through educational seminars
