Our Mission is to protect bonobos (Pan paniscus), preserve their tropical rainforest habitat, and empower local communities in the Congo Basin. By working with local Congolese people through cooperative conservation and community development programs, and by shaping national and international policy, the Bonobo Conservation Initiative (BCI) is establishing new protected areas and leading efforts to safeguard bonobos wherever they are found. The Bonobo Peace Forest (BPF) is the guiding vision of BCI: a connected network of community-based reserves and conservation concessions, supported by sustainable development. The Peace Forest provides protection for bonobos and other species in the Congo rainforest, while at the same time ensuring a better life for the people who share this precious land.

Founded by Carol Buckley in 2009, Elephant Aid International (EAI) envisions a world in which society respects elephants and provides them conditions in which they can thrive. Built on decades of experience and scientific advances, our mission is to improve the lives of elephants and the people who live and work with them. EAI collaborates with governments, municipalities, biologists, mahouts (elephant trainers), researchers, veterinarians, educators, progressive zoo professionals, and owners. Together, we work to raise awareness of the plight of captive-held elephants everywhere they live; and advocate for improved standards and practices.

Founded in 2002, The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks is the official philanthropic partner for Florida’s four national parks: Everglades, Biscayne, and Dry Tortugas National Parks, as well as Big Cypress National Preserve. Our organization strives to instill in all people an appreciation of Florida’s public lands and natural resources for what they are – the key to the sustainability and prosperity of the state. Through five focused pillars of support – education, exploration, preservation & protection, restoration, and community engagement – The Alliance’s work enriches the park experience and creates deeper connections between diverse communities and the nature that abounds in their “backyards.”

To significantly reduce the numbers of abandoned pets being euthanized in New Mexico’s municipal facilities, to spay and neuter them so that the numbers of stray pets decrease, to fully vaccinate them to stop the spread of disease, and to train the pets to be successful and loved in their new homes. We strive to maintain self-sufficiency through helpful, coordinated pet services and well-advertised fundraising campaigns. Ensuring snow leopard survival and conserving mountain landscapes by expanding environmental awareness and sharing innovative practices through community stewardship and partnerships.The Snow Leopard Conservancy (SLC) works with local partners and herder communities, the front line in preserving the biodiversity of Central Asia’s high mountains by providing technical and financial assistance for activities linked to stewardship and biodiversity conservation. Our programs build community ownership of projects, long-term self-reliance, and ecosystem health. We involve communities in non-invasive baseline research on snow leopards, their prey and habitat, blending western science with indigenous knowledge.

Snakes are threatened by many of the same issues that affect all wildlife, including habitat loss, climate change, and disease. But negative attitudes toward snakes may be the biggest barrier to their conservation because it often impedes efforts to address other threats. Our Mission is to use science, education, and advocacy to promote compassionate conservation and coexistence with snakes. Our Vision is a world where snakes are respected and appreciated instead of feared and hated.

Their mission is to provide aid and sanctuary to abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered horses that come to them. They work with law enforcement and other agencies in their efforts to rectify situations in which horses are in peril, and provide horses in their Sanctuary with needed medical care and proper nutrition. They continue educational and fundraising efforts to both help them support their rescue efforts and to promote awareness of issues involving neglect and abuse in the area.
