Crossing Borders (CB) is a non-profit, non-partisan civil society organisation. The vision of CB is a world in peace with itself in which diversity is celebrated. The mission is to create dialogue space toward such a world and to build the capacity of youth, media workers and educators to realise the above vision. The overall goal is to enable people with different backgrounds to learn to live together on equal terms. Crossing Borders started as a project in 1999 in Denmark in support of meaningful dialogue between the conflict parties in the Middle East. In response to increased activities and demands for the CB concept and services, it was transformed, in 2004, into a dynamic organization with activities in Denmark and abroad.

Our mission is to support the transformation of society by engaging and showing how each individual can contribute and positively impact the lives of local communities as well as people around the world. The idea of a charity foundation began with a desire to support talented children and young people, as well as to provide support to the economically disadvantaged people in the local community. With the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the focus to large extent was shifted to supporting refugees and the Ukrainian army. The Lumanu Family Foundation is a non-profit organization/charity foundation which and has obtained public benefit status from the State Revenue Service. The Foundation carefully evaluates support projects, as our motto is to provide meaningful and high-quality support. The Foundation is a non-profit organization, which means that we continue to be both active donors and administrative workers.

Global Changemakers works to an unshakable mission of supporting young people to create a positive change towards a more just, fair and sustainable world. We do this through skills development, capacity building, mentoring and grants.
