To serve the public through the collection, conservation, exhibition, and interpretation of significant works of art from a broad range of cultures and historical periods, and through the translation of these collections into meaningful educational, aesthetic, intellectual, and cultural experiences for the widest array of audiences.

Step Up is a mentorship nonprofit providing the structure for girls (and those who identify with girlhood) to define their ideal destination and get there -- wherever that destination may be. Through Step Up, girls experience more than just mentorship. They'll find community, feel empowered to expand their horizons, and develop the skills they need to navigate life’s path with confidence. Common Threads is a national nonprofit that provides children and families cooking and nutrition education to encourage healthy habits that contribute to wellness. We equip under-resourced communities with information to make affordable, nutritious and appealing food choices wherever they live, work, learn, and play. We know that food is rooted in culture and tradition so we promote diversity in our lessons and recipes, encouraging our participants to celebrate their culture.

Our Mission As the first multidisciplinary cultural space in Downtown Staten Island, the Canvas Institute is dedicated to transforming lives through art, education, and civic engagement. We offer dynamic programming both in and out of schools, including Social Emotional Wellbeing initiatives, teen and adult mental health support, anti-violence and conflict resolution training, and parental support programs. Our work not only uplifts students and families but also addresses systemic challenges faced by underserved communities. By uniting youth groups, artists, scholars, civic leaders, and community members, we create a ripple effect of positive change and inspire new possibilities. Out of the Box is committed to lifting the voices of marginalized communities through the stories presented in our space. We stage immersive productions that offer audiences and artists a fresh perspective on classics as well as new works.

SFArtsED provides participatory and standards-based arts education in the performing and visual arts for young people, primarily in San Francisco public schools as well as in after-school, weekend and summer programs. We bring together professional artists and children in a wide variety of life-changing, skill-building, joy-brimming arts activities.

Through Wikipedia and its sister projects, the mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower people around the world to collect and develop knowledge under a free license, and to disseminate it effectively and globally. In collaboration with a network of chapters, the Foundation provides the essential infrastructure and an organizational framework for the support and development of projects and endeavors which serve this mission.

The Brooklyn Youth Music Project is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to extending the reach of musical training to all young musicians ages 5 to 18 in the Brooklyn community and beyond, to supporting the development of lifelong learners and to contributing to a culture of youth musicianship that meets the highest standards of excellence. We are a stand-alone youth organization, not affiliated with a professional orchestra. Our organization is dedicated to extending the reach of musical training to all young musicians in the Brooklyn community and beyond, to supporting the development of life-long learners and to contributing to a culture of youth musicianship that meets the highest standards of excellence. We are the only program in Brooklyn to offer three levels in orchestra and two levels of Jazz ensemble. These different programs for different skill levels, coupled with our low tuition and need-based scholarships, allow us to include a great diversity of young musicians. Such a range allows students to develop their individual skills as performers as well as their sensitivity and responsiveness as collaborators. This in turn fosters the growth of the ensemble as a whole. BYMP has rapidly grown from a 25-member string orchestra to a multi-tiered program reaching over 200 children annually, largely from public schools. This vigorous growth attests to a need in the Brooklyn youth music community that we are proud to fill.

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation provides vital assistance and educational programming to the professionals of SAG-AFTRA while serving the public at large through its signature children's literacy programs.Our programs reflect the concerns and interests of SAG-AFTRA members as well as their desire to give back to their communities. The SAG-AFTRA Foundation is independent from SAG-AFTRA but offers substantive services to performers, free of charge. The Foundation relies solely on the support from grants, corporate sponsorships, bequests and individual contributions to maintain our programs and create new ones.

Outfest protects our past, showcases our present and nurtures our future by fostering artistic expression of gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ culture and its transformative social impact on the world. Their mission aims to create visibility to diverse LGBTQIA+ stories and empowers storytellers, building empathy to drive meaningful social change. Founded by UCLA students in 1982, Outfest is the leading organization that promotes equality by creating, sharing and protecting LGBT stories on the screen. Outfest builds community by connecting diverse populations to discover, discuss and celebrate stories of LGBT lives. Over the past three decades, Outfest has showcased thousands of films from around the world to audiences of nearly a million, educated and mentored hundreds of emerging filmmakers and protected more than 20,000 LGBT films and videos.

The mission of The Pablove Foundation is to invest in underfunded, cutting-edge pediatric cancer research, inspire cancer families through education, and improve the lives of children living with cancer through the arts. We help kids with cancer live – a love-filled life today, and a cancer-free life tomorrow.
