The mission of the CAF is to educate, inspire, and honor through flight and living history.

Founded in 2001 the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum acknowledges the multicultural contributions of Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, European Americans, and African Americans in the settlement of the American frontier. Works of artists and others who documented people and events of the time via journals, photographs, and other historical items are part of the museum's collection of overlooked materials that tell — often for the first time — the complete story of how the West was won. Through various educational programs (e.g., storytelling sessions, "Forgotten Cowboys Tour," cultural heritage workshops, historical reenactments, participatory learning) at the museum and in the community, the Museum shares our multicultural western heritage while instilling positive values of diversity, tolerance, hard-work, and determination. Visitors to the museum and at our traveling exhibitions leave with an awareness that the American West came into being through the struggles and triumphs of racially and socio-economically diverse people.

To preserve and protect the Presidential Yacht Potomac for use as a classroom and museum dedicated to imparting to present and future generations the continuing impact of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt era.

The Autry brings together the stories of all peoples of the American West, connecting the past with the present to inspire our shared future.

The mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is to honor and preserve the legacy of service and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War. Based in Arlington, Virginia, VVMF is the nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1980 to build a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. Incorporated on April 27, 1979 by a group of veterans led by Jan C. Scruggs, the organization sought a tangible symbol of recognition from the American people for those who served in the war. The result was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), which has become one of the most visited memorials in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 5.6 million annual visitors.

The Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College is a not-for-profit, teaching museum that seeks toenhance lives through inspirational and engaging art experiences for all. It is the largest and onlynationally accredited visual arts organization in Polk County and the only Smithsonian Affiliate artmuseum in Central Florida.

TO OPERATE AS A MUSEUM OF ROAD TRANSPORTATION, VEHICLES, ARTIFACTS, ROADSIDE CULTURE, ALTERNATIVE PROPULSION, AND VEHICLE BUILDERS FOCUSED ON PENNSYLVANIA AND THE GREATER DELAWARE VALLEY; AS WELL AS THE HISTORIC VEHICLES BUILT BY JEREMIAH SWEINHART'S CARRIAGE FACTORY 1872-1914 AND BY PAUL HAFER'S BOYERTOWN AUTO BODY WORKS 1914-1990 IN THE HISTORIC INDUSTRIAL AGE FACTORY BUILDINGS WHICH NOW HOUSE THE COLLECTION.

The IGFA is a nonprofit organization committed to the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through science, education, rulemaking, record keeping, and recognition of outstanding accomplishments in the field of angling.

MNA's mission is to inspire a sense of love and responsibility for the beauty and diversity of the Colorado Plateau through collecting, studying, interpreting and preserving the region's natural and cultural heritage. MNA is a significant educational, collections and research institution that serves a diverse local community and a national and international audience united by a desire to learn about the Colorado Plateau. Since its founding, MNA has been a committed resource and partner to native communities and has filled a need for meaningful interaction between native and non-native communities.

The Senator John Heinz History Center* is an educational institution that engages, informs, and inspires large and diverse audiences through museum, virtual, and outreach programs enabling links to the past, understanding in the present, and guidance for the future while preserving regional history and presenting the American experience with a Western Pennsylvania connection.This work is accomplished in partnership with others through archaeology, artifact collections, broadcast media and the internet, conservation, educational programs, exhibitions, events, library & archives, museums, performance, publications, products, research, and technical assistance.(Approved by the Board of Trustees, July 14, 2016)* NOTE: The Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania, founded in 1879, today does business as the Senator John Heinz History Center, which includes the Detre Library & Archives, Fort Pitt Museum, Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, and the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum.
