The Center collects, preserves, and shares significant railroad photography and related art for education and research. It advances public understanding through exhibitions, publications (Railroad Heritage), conferences, and partnerships with museums and archives rather than operating a stand‑alone museum.

The organization preserves and interprets the Hartford home of Samuel L. Clemens (Mark Twain), presenting his life, works, and the Clemens family collections through guided house tours, exhibitions, educational programs, and public events. Its work aims to foster appreciation of Twain’s literary legacy and make his relevance to American culture and contemporary issues accessible to students and visitors.

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy protects and restores exceptional places to provide our region with clean waters and healthy forests, wildlife and natural areas for the benefit of present and future generations. The Conservancy creates green spaces and gardens, contributing to the vitality of our cities and towns, and preserves Fallingwater, a symbol of people living in harmony with nature. Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities, has recognized the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy as one of the top ten charities in the nation! Over the last decade, we have consistently received exceptional Charity Navigator ratings for financial health, accountability and transparency.

Hands-on House provides an inclusive environment that facilitates learning through play and a sense of belonging for children and families, igniting a love of learning on site and in the community through an innovative combination of technology, science, engineering, math, and creative arts.

RIMOSA's mission is to utilize Rhode Islands’ rich resources in the arts and sciences to create a distinctive, highly interactive, informal learning center. Our goal is to kindle curiosity, encourage experimentation, and improve understanding of the world around us by merging art and science to create innovative, interactive exhibits and programs. Our target age is 8 and up.

The vast collections are the foundation for the culturally diverse curriculum, which offers a rare opportunity for learning. As an organization, SEEC is a leader in the field of museum-based education and influences practice within museums and schools. Our educators apply best practices recognized in the early childhood field and enrich the children’s learning through an object-based approach to teaching, sharing the rich stories associated with these objects in ways that make the curriculum deeper and richer. Museum educators within the program build on the practice established within the SEEC model, serving as content experts on the museums and blending theory and practice as a basis for outside consulting and professional development.

The Foundation's mission is two-fold: Preservation - to conserve, protect, and maintain Monticello in a manner which leaves it enhanced and unimpaired for future generations; and, Education - to interpret and present Thomas Jefferson to the widest possible audiences, including scholars and the general public.

Project Exploration creates transformative learning experiences, pathways, and a community for youth underrepresented in STEM, especially low-income students, students of color, and young women, allowing them to explore STEM careers and equip them with the necessary skills and practices, and mindset needed for lifelong learning.
