Our mission is to empower local media worldwide to give people the news and information they need, the ability to connect, and the means to make their voices heard.

The Children's Radio Foundation (CRF) uses radio training and broadcast to create opportunities for youth dialogue, participation, leadership, and active citizenship. Through giving youth the tools and skills to produce radio, young people are mobilized to engage in productive dialogue about the issues they face, and work together to improve their lives and communities. With 74 youth radio projects across six African countries, CRF works with radio stations and CBOs to create local platforms for discussion, information sharing, social engagement, and action. Our reporters take on issues that resonate with youth in their community, including but not limited to children's rights, sexual reproductive health and rights, power dynamics in teenage relationships, gender norms and stereotypes, HIV and AIDS-related issues, climate change, and the environment. Speaking in local languages and in a youth-friendly style, they interview community members, host debates, and bring out local perspectives. Their reporting projects, broadcasts, and outreach activities are geared to generate discussion about issues facing youth.

Our mission is to inform, inspire and empower people to speak and act on behalf of their communities, to use television and the internet to create and distribute programs that promote and celebrate individual expression, local achievements, education, cultural exchange, art appreciation and civic engagement. Since it was founded in 1927 as a printing press to provide the first regularly issued braille newspaper to the blind community in Boston, NBP has expanded its efforts to ensure that blind people have the same access to information as sighted people in a medium they can read - braille. Braille is a writing system that enables blind and partially sighted people to read and write through touch

Women Make Movies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit media arts service organization established in 1972 to address the under representation and misrepresentation of women in the media industry. Since then, organizational growth and ground-breaking programs have made Women Make Movies the leading distributor of women’s films and videotapes worldwide.WMM carries out its unique mission through an internationally recognized Distribution Service and a Production Assistance Program that helps women film/video directors in all stages of production by offering educational and professional development assistance. We provide emerging artists with the tools that are essential for their artistic development, while giving accomplished women film and videomakers national and international exposure.

To sponsor and produce innovative theater, digital video and films, youth development programs and other live or online events that address health, political and socio-economic issues affecting historically under-served individuals, at risk populations, cultures, minorities, youth and communities. Through performance, community outreach, artistic and cultural programming, we build and strengthen communities, develop future leaders, promote human development and create opportunities for youth and adult artists of all disciplines .
