When possible it supports families to keep children at home; when not, it cares for children in a family‑style children’s village and runs community outreach programs.

Their primary goal is to ensure Massachusetts police K‑9s have protective vests and related support.

The department is a local volunteer fire and emergency services organization that provides fire suppression, rescue and ambulance/EMS response to protect lives and property in the Mahopac community. It operates volunteer-run stations and public-safety programs for the town and surrounding area.

Talbot Humane has been helping animals in Talbot County, Maryland, since 1932. The American India Foundation (AIF) works to improve the lives of India’s underserved—especially women, children, and youth—by funding and running high-impact programs in education, livelihoods, and public health. TreePeople works to grow a more climate-resilient and water-secure Southern California by mobilizing people and implementing nature-based solutions. They run community forestry and school-greening programs, restore wildfire-impacted wildlands, advance water and urban resilience projects, and provide environmental education to engage communities in local climate action.
