Haiti Outreach is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization in the U.S. and a certified NGO with the Haitian government with the vision that Haiti become a developed country. Our mission is to collaborate with the people of Haiti to build community initiated and maintained projects that advance their development. Our Haitian staff works in rural communities to create clean water infrastructure, mostly wells and some basic water systems, that the community leaders are trained to maintain over many years. Part of this program includes a subscription fee to the water service so there are saved funds for future maintenance and repairs. We also conduct sanitation education and the promotion of latrines for each household. We are committed to long term sustainable development and are not a relief org.

Our focus is on service: we are committed to improving the lives of women and children in our community, our country, and around the world. at our local club level, we organize fundraisers to support various service projects chosen by the members. OBAT Helpers is a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization committed to providing aid, support, education and economic empowerment to the displaced, unfortunate and forgotten population residing in camps in Bangladesh. Commonly known as stranded Pakistanis, Biharis or Urdu speaking people, they have been suffering silently in the countless slums or makeshift camps scattered across Bangladesh, for the past 44 years. Their displaced status and dire living conditions were a consequence of a civil war between Pakistan and Bangladesh and the unresolved political conflict between them. Altogether, there are about 300,000 people languishing in one hundred and sixteen makeshift camps in extremely poor conditions- they live in abject poverty with no access to basic amenities of living.
Striving to end the cycle of starvation, illiteracy, and despair that is destroying the lives of abandoned children in Haiti through education and the development of opportunity for an independent future.
