The Voter Participation Center (VPC) works to ensure the New American Majority (NAM): people of color, young people, and unmarried women, engage in democracy equal to their presence in society through voter registration, mobilization, and education. VPC is a civic engagement organization that primarily uses direct mail and digital platforms in metrics driven, targeted programming steeped in research and learning about the populations it serves. VPC is committed to continuous innovation, evolution, experimentation and the development of new approaches to help realize the full voting potential of the NAM, and to working in partnership with local, state and national civic engagement efforts. VPC envisions a democracy where all voices are heard equally in elections and political discourse

Our strategic goal is to strengthen national progressive movement infrastructure and build greater power and effectiveness by equipping a wide range of activists, organizations, and coalitions with the skills they need to advocate for new public policy, elect progressive leaders, mobilize voters, and empower people to organize for change.

The mission of the Institute, working through subscribing newspapers, is to help teachers improve students’ standardized test scores and critical thinking skills through the use of quality NIE curriculum resources and student supplements that support educational use of their local newspaper. Our character and civic education resources encourage students to make good life choices and become responsible citizens in their communities.

Artpace San Antonio is a nonprofit residency program which supports Texas, national, and international artists in the creation of new art. As a catalyst for artistic expression, we engage local communities with global art practices and experiences.

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is a state agency and a privately endowed educational institution created for the citizens of Virginia. Its purpose is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret the art of world cultures from all periods of history, to encourage the study of the arts, and to enrich lives. The VMFA Foundation exists solely to support the activities of VMFA and to manage assets held in trust. Support includes transfers to the museum and direct expenditures to further VMFA's mission.

Caring for Cambodia (CFC) is educating a generation of Cambodian children today, to make a difference for Cambodia's tomorrow. Our schools are safe, modern and technologically equipped. We train teachers, provide tools and remove barriers to learning. The AFAR foundation’s mission is to promote cross-cultural exchange by sponsoring international travel and study for students who cannot otherwise afford to experience another part of the world.

Kipp Bay Area Schools operates high-performing, college-preparatory public charter schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kipp Bay Area Schools is part of the nationally acclaimed Kipp Network of Kipp Schools Nationwide. Kipp Schools Nationwide successfully help students from educationally underserved communities develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed to succeed in college and the competitive world beyond. In the year ended June 30, 2013, Kipp Bay Area Schools operated seven high- performing institutions.
