Blue Dragon's mission is to provide exceptional care to Vietnamese children and families in crisis while creating long-term change for a better world. Entrepreneurs du Monde, founded in 1998, is a French public interest association which works with populations in developing countries. The organisation helps thousands of women and men living in extremely difficult circumstances to improve their living conditions, by supporting their own entrepreneurial ventures and giving them access to products which can bring significant health, economic and environmental benefits. Entrepreneurs du Monde helps these people create the conditions they need to become successful, and in turn make economic and social progress.

Established in 1999, KOTO (Know One, Teach One) is a leading not-for-profit social enterprise providing disadvantaged and at-risk Vietnamese youth from across the country with an intensive 24-month Australian-accredited hospitality and commercial cookery training, crucial life skills and English language classes as well as accommodation, full board, health checks and medical support so our trainees can achieve their dreams and become productive members in their community. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, KOTO has helped almost 1,000 disadvantaged youth realize their potential. KOTO alumni are found in every leading hotel and restaurant across Vietnam. Many alumni are running their own businesses and are working internationally including in Australia, Germany, New Zealand and Singapore. With their Box Hill Institute qualifications, a number have been awarded scholarships to continue their studies in Australia. Most have used this opportunity to improve their own lives and often that of their family and the wider community.

Taghyeer Organization/ We Love Reading Program is an innovative model that provides a practical, cost efficient, sustainable, grassroots approach empowering communities from low and mid income communities around the world to create changemakers through reading. WLR supports the activism of local volunteers to increase reading levels among children 2-10 by focusing on the readaloud experience to instill the love of reading for pleasure among children to become lifelong learners. We aim to create system change. We create changemakers by recruiting and training adults and youth from local communities to provide read-aloud sessions for local children in safe, public spaces. Each year, WLR volunteers read to tens of thousands of children in public parks, community centers, mosques and other faith-based settings, nurseries, refugee camps, and other locales. We serve diverse populations and communities irrespective of gender, religion, social status, disability, literacy level, educational experience, etc. The training is either implemented in face-to-face settings or via our online platform to allow reaching wider audience of people wanting to volunteer and become reading ambassadors.
