The overriding mission of the University of Montevallo, unique in Alabama higher education, is to provide to students from throughout the state an affordable, geographically accessible, “small college” public higher educational experience of high quality with a strong emphasis on undergraduate liberal studies and with professional programs supported by a broad base of arts and sciences, designed for their intellectual and personal growth in pursuit of meaningful employment and responsible, informed citizenship.

The mission of the SF State University Foundation is to foster and encourage private financial support for San Francisco State University. This includes money, property, works of art, historical papers and documents, museum specimens of educational, artistic or historical value and any other assets of value of any description.The Foundation operates in the State of California and serves students attending SF State University.

Our mission is two-fold. One is to rehabilitate and return to the wild the sick, injured, and orphaned patients we receive. The other is to provide comprehensive wildlife and environmental education to the public.

Zaytuna College aims to educate and prepare morally committed professional, intellectual, and spiritual leaders who are grounded in the Islamic scholarly tradition and conversant with the cultural currents and critical ideas shaping modern society.

To prepare gifted students to transform the world creatively through art and design. We can do this by (1) providing a rigorous education in art, design and the liberal arts that combines theory and creative application through facilitating aesthetic exploration and critical inquiry and reflection in a historical and contemporary context; (2) nurturing the professional, intellectual and personal growth of our students through access to dedicated preeminent, professionally active faculty; and (3) preparing our graduates for thriving multifaceted careers by creating partnerships that serve and involve the public, encourage lifelong learning and promote student engagement with local, national and international communities.

Drury is an independent university, church-related, grounded in the liberal arts tradition, and committed to personalized education in a community of scholars who value the arts of teaching and learning. Education at Drury seeks to cultivate spiritual sensibilities and imaginative faculties as well as ethical insight and critical thought; to foster the integration of theoretical and practical knowledge; and to liberate persons to participate responsibly in and contribute to a global community.

To close the achievement gap by providing financially disadvantaged students with free tutoring, training, scholarships and work experience.

NewU is the first new private nonprofit undergraduate university to call Washington, DC home in over 100 years. It is also the first new in-person college to launch in the US in the last 15 years. The Philosophy of Education at EPIC Bible College is based upon the premise that God is the source of all truth; that the Holy Spirit is the Leader and Guide into all truth; that humans, as created in the image of God, may gain knowledge and understanding of spiritual and physical realities through pursuit of truth. Further, God has revealed Himself in general revelation through the physical, created world and in special revelation through the person of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, the Bible.
