Tate (1952-2012), HartBeat ensemble creates provocative theater that connects our community beyond traditional barriers of class, race, geography and gender. HartBeat’s resident home is the carriage house theater located on farmington avenue in Hartford.

Founded in 1956, and now celebrating our 60th year, The Rockland Conservatory of Music is a not-for-profit community music school and center for the performing arts, created to provide quality professional music instruction to students of diverse ages, abilities and financial backgrounds and to provide a community forum for performing arts, culture and entertainment.

Florida by providing funds for programs and materials over and above traditional tax base funding for the Jacksonville Public Library. Founded in 1981, AFAR is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to support and advance healthy aging.  AFAR helps researchers begin and further their careers in aging research and geriatric medicine.  Over the past 26 years, AFAR has awarded more than $132 million to approximately 2,800 MD’s, PhD’s, and students.

We, the Society of the Third Street Music School Settlement, believe that a knowledge and appreciation of music and the arts is fundamental to the development of each individual and that the arts provide unique opportunities for cultural exchange and community understanding. Thus we affirm that: It is the mission of the School to provide quality education in music and the arts, primarily to children of New York's Lower East Side, in an environment that nurtures achievement and creativity and offers to all who attend, regardless of artistic ability or economic circumstances, the opportunity to pursue their own personal development and enrich the quality of their lives.
