The mission of The Parish School is to identify, educate and empower children who have language and learning differences.

Founded by Atlanta volunteers in 1888, the mission of Sheltering Arms Early Education & Family Centers is to empower families and strengthen communities by providing 1) high quality, affordable child care and  early education, 2) comprehensive support services for families, 3) professional development, and 4) community building partnerships.   Each day, 2500 children and their families are served in 16 neighborhood centers serving 6 metro Atlanta counties.  Sheltering Arms serves working families of all income levels by providing government child care subsidies and income-based scholarships generated by fundraising. Sheltering Arms, a United Way funded agency, has been nationally recognized for its success in preparing children for school success. 

Small Steps’ mission is to provide an exemplary early childhood program to instill and foster the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth of economically at-risk children and their families.

The basic aim of Metro East Montessori School is, in the words of Maria Montessori, "to help the child to help himself." In preparing an environment that provides for the child's inner needs, it is hoped he will be enabled to fulfill his highest potential as an integrated personality.

The School's goal is to instill in each child an enthusiasm for learning, to promote thoughtful and responsible behavior and to foster respect for the natural world and other human beings.

The Early Learning Institute (teli) helps children to realize their full potential and enriches the lives of children and their families by: providing comprehensive programs and services for children with developmental delays in an inclusive environment; providing individualized developmental and preschool programs and services for children of varying abilities; and collaborating with other community organizations to carry out these missions.

Mission Statement: The mission of North Oaks Preschool is to supplement early home experiences in a warm, loving, healthy and safe environment as well as todevelop a strong, positive self-concept through interaction with peers and supportive adults. We teach and model positive self-image, individuality, independence and respect of others. Children are offered the opportunity to grow and develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. We value the parent cooperative approach of the school.

The mission of the Clemson Child Development Center is to provide affordable, quality child care and preschool education. The Clemson Child Development Center fosters learning and development in an environment that appreciates diversity. Emphasis is also given to programs that strengthen the home environment, enabling families to provide the optimal development of their preschool children

Lyme Nursery School is a non-profit, cooperative nursery school whose purpose is to promote the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and artistic growth of young children. This is accomplished by fostering self-esteem, self-control, respect for others, and a sense of security with both peers and adults. In order to meet the educational needs of young children, the school provides an enriching environment that stimulates learning, imagination, and creative expression, and encourages the development of each child’s communication and problem-solving skills. In addition to the social and academic aspects of our program, LNS places great emphasis on time spent outdoors, helping children to explore the environment and world around them.
