Their Mission In the spring of 2019, a group of Twin Cities educators, community members, and parents met to imagine a school grounded in Montessori pedagogy, accessible to families of all incomes, that places the needs of the children first. Monarch Montessori School opened its first Children's House environment in St. Paul, Minnesota for children ages 33 months through 6 years of age on September 8th, 2020. They are committed to providing a safe and healthy in-person educational option for families and offer tuition assistance to children of essential workers.

THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A NOT-FOR-PROFIT PRESCHOOL.

EDUCATION (PRESCHOOL-ELEMENTARY-MIDDLE)

TO OPERATE A QUALITY PRESCHOOL FOR A MAXIMUM OF 40 STUDENTS

MONTESSORI SCHOOL TO CARE FOR AND EDUCATE CHILDREN AGES 2 1/2 TO 7 YEARS OLD. THE MONTESSORI SCHOOL PROVIDED CARE AND EDUCATION FOR 58 STUDENTS DURING THE TAX YEAR IN AN AFFORDABLE COMMUNITY SETTING.

Through providing an environment that invites children to observe, to be active, to make choices and to experiment we provide opportunity for children to develop a sense of competence and initiative.

Jarrow Montessori School nurtures the development of the whole child through quality Montessori education. Our community supports each child’s joyful discovery of self in the journey to becoming a confident lifelong learner and compassionate citizen.

Nashoba Brooks School educates children for a life of continuous learning, accomplishment, and leadership in a diverse and changing world. The School nurtures students' growth and character, while fostering the development of each child's personal excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts.

Neighborhood House Nursery School is operated by the Neighborhood Association, a non-profit, community-based organization. Opened in 1920 and located in a charming Victorian house just one block from Taylor Park, the NHNS provides a home away from home environment where children learn to love the process of learning and discovery. NHNS also creates a unique opportunity to connect learning to our natural environment with the use of our garden area. The pre-school program is open to children of parents who live or work in Millburn/Short Hills and the surrounding communities. Our staff works diligently to prepare each child for the transition to elementary school through fostering confidence, self-awareness and the ability to connect all learning to the world in which we live.

Discovery Preschool will provide high-quality early education, inclusive of all young children and their families, by fostering a sense of community and encouraging the children to discover new things about themselves, their friends, and the world around them.

WE ENGAGE, CHALLENGE AND SUPPORT CHILDREN AS THEY DEVELOP THE SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE TO ACHIEVE EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS. WE NURTURE THE WHOLE CHILD THROUGH A THOUGHTFUL, BALANCED CURRICULUM. WE INTENTIONALLY BUILD A DIVERSE SCHOOL COMMUNITY, AND WE VALUE, RESPECT, AND EDUCATE OURSELVES ABOUT ITS COMPLEXITIES AND GIFTS. WE FOSTER THE GROWTH OF OUR STUDENTS SO THEY WILL BECOME RESPONSIBLE, CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF THE WORLD WHO STAND UP FOR THEIR BELIEFS, EXPRESS THEIR THOUGHTS, AND CARE ABOUT THE RIGHTS AND FEELINGS OF OTHERS.
