Founded in 2004 by a group of young professionals who believed people can make a difference, HandsOn Shanghai is an officially registered non-profit organization with the Shanghai Civil Affair Bureau since 2010. Governed by a board of 11 members, the HandsOn Shanghai volunteer platform helps to bridge the divide that exists between individuals who are looking to give back to their community and the organizations that would benefit from the support that volunteers can provide. With a primary objective of providing flexible volunteer opportunities for busy professionals and serving local charities in needs, HOS manages a big group of volunteers and a diverse range of community service projects in Shanghai Currently we engage more than 2500 volunteers each month through more than 150 local service projects. Projects that benefit the young and old through long term, committed, partnerships with more than 75 project partners. With our mission is to promote volunteerism, inspire, equip and mobilize people to take action that changes the world, we envision a world in which individuals, students, and corporate leaders are able to discover (and harness) their power to make a difference, participate as volunteers, and participants in the development of healthy, vibrant, and resilient communities.

To improve the diagnosis, treatment and care of individuals worldwide with CACNA1C-related disorders, including Timothy Syndrome and LongQT8, and to support the families of those diagnosed.

1. Bethel supports the projects started by its founders, Guillaume and Delphine Gauvain: Bethel China (in China), SPACE (in the Philippines) and Project Butterfly (Worldwide). 2. Bethel also empowers projects which have been identified as solid projects. The empowerment comes in the form of financial support and/or coaching to its leaders.

MAITS is an international disability charity whose mission is to improve the lives of some of the world's poorest people with developmental disabilities and the lives of their families, through better access to and quality of health and education services and support. We provide education, training and support for those working with and caring for persons with developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism and global learning disabilities to ensure they are able to achieve their full potential in a way that is sustainable and inclusive. We support people with disabilities in the following ways: The training of healthcare and education professionals, community workers, families and carers- to better understand their conditions and build their skills and knowledge to ensure persons with disabilities have better access to and improved quality of services. The development of training materials and resources on disability- the training materials are tested out and adapted to the local context, and when needed, translated into the local language, to ensure high quality care for those with disabilities. Linking organisations that need training with those who are able to provide it- through our website and through our database of 208 volunteer therapists and educators. In addition to facilitating face-to-face training, MAITS has an ongoing programme of resource development, designing tools that assist in the support and inclusion of individuals with particular needs, whether it be at home, school, in healthcare provisions or elsewhere in the community, in low-resource settings. We have a small team of specialists who create resources and we connect those looking for training with those who can provide it. The One Foundation was first founded by Jet Li in in April 2007, and was registered on December 3, 2010, as an independent public fundraising foundation in China. With the 2010 registration in Shenzhen, One Foundation became authorized to act as a fully independent charity. The founding organizations were the Shanghai Jet Li One Foundation, Lao Niu Foundation, Tencent Foundation, Vantone Foundation and Vanke Foundation. Each founding organization donated 10 million RMB for a total of 50 million RMB start-up. As of April 2013, the board of directors consisted of 11 members, in alphabetical order: Feng Lun, Jet Li (Chinese: ), Liu Chuanzhi (Chinese: ), Pony Ma (Chinese: ), Ma Weihua (Chinese: ), Jack Ma (Chinese: ), Niu Gensheng (Chinese: ), Wang Shi (Chinese: ), Yang Peng (Chinese: ), Zhou Qiren (Chinese: ) and Amy Zhou (Chinese: ). One Foundation strives to provide a professional and transparent public service platform according to the vision of "It Starts with every One" . Our Mission is to promote philanthropic culture, to provide humanitarian aid in natural disasters, and to build philanthropic platform by which everyone can join us in the philanthropic causes in every possible way. One Foundation's strategy is for this one platform to focus on three areas, including disaster relief, children's welfare and philanthropy development.
