Graduate Women International (GWI), founded in 1919 as the International Federation of University (IFUW), is a worldwide, non-governmental organisation of women graduates. GWI advocates for women's rights, equality and empowerment through access to quality secondary and tertiary education and training up to the highest levels. GWI's mission is to: Promote lifelong education for women and girls; Promote international cooperation, friendship, peace and respect for human rights for all, irrespective of their age, race, nationality, religion, political opinion, gender and sexual orientation or other status; Advocate for the advancement of the status of women and girls; and Encourage and enable women and girls to apply their knowledge and skills in leadership and decision-making in all forms of public and private life.

RIJ is an independent non-profit organization that funds projects for people displaced by conflict around the world. RIJ supports projects that provide opportunities for people to lead an independent normal life while staying near to home and their loved ones; projects that enable people to give back to the community and make valuable contributions to the local economy as well as rebuilding their own future.

Street Child is an organization that aims to create educational opportunities for some of the world's most vulnerable children. Since launching in 2008 Street Child has supported more than 50,000 children across Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nepal. Whether working with children on the streets, providing business support for families who are suffering from the effects of income poverty, building first ever schools in rural communities, or working in crisis areas where children's ability to learn has been adversely affected, Street Child is committed to transforming lives through increased access to education with a core focus on sustainable responses. The charity works in some of the world's poorest countries, including regions recently beset by major natural or medical crises. Street Child's projects are designed to help ensure that children whose educational opportunities are at risk can access their right to a seat in the classroom and stay there.

The Sophia Akash Foundation's (SAF) mission is to facilitate sustainable paths out of poverty for the world's poor. Who We Are The Foundation for Women's Health, Research and Development - FORWARD - is an African Diaspora women's campaign and support charity (registered in the UK). We exist to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights as central to the wellbeing of African women and girls. We work with individuals, communities and organisations to transform harmful practices and improve the quality of life of vulnerable girls and women. FORWARD was established in 1983 in the UK, in response to the emerging problems caused by female genital mutilation being seen by health professionals. Since this time FORWARD has been working to eliminate the practice and provide support to women affected by FGM. At our twenty year review FORWARD formally incorporated into its mandate other issues allied to Female Genital Mutilation, in particular vesico-vagina and recto-vagina fistulae and child and forced marriage. Commit and Act is an international team of mental health professionals dedicated to training healthcare workers in Sierra Leone . Our therapeutic approach empowers people to face their fears and find creative solutions to their numerous challenges they face on a daily basis. By training local health workers in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with local groups and families, we aim to alleviate suffering and build stronger communities. In collaboration with local health institutions, we provide workshops, ongoing training and therapeutic support at our psychological center in the remote town of Bo and other areas in Sierra Leone. The goal of Commit and Act is to enable people to trust again and find the courage to create their lives in line with their vision and values. Our therapists train professional helpers on site in effective methods of psychotherapy and support them through regular supervision.
