At Prep for Prep, we envision a nation guided by ethical and effective leaders who reflect our diverse society. Through our education, leadership development, and professional advancement programs, we prepare New York City’s most promising students of color for success at top independent schools in the Northeast and support their academic and personal growth through their college graduation. Today, more than 5,000 students and alumni are leaders in almost every field imaginable.

Project GRAD Atlanta provides critical academic, behavioral, social services, and college access interventions for traditionally-underserved populations of students from economically-disadvantaged communities attending Atlanta public schools.

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is the nation’s leading provider of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs. As a nonprofit organization, PLTW’s mission is simple: prepare students for the global economy. To compete globally, the future U.S. workforce will require stronger skills in the STEM disciplines. It’s not about turning more students into engineers – it’s about building tomorrow’s problem solvers, critical thinkers, and innovators. This is where PLTW excels.  

PUENTE’s mission is stated within its name: People United to Enrich the Neighborhood Through Education. “Puente” is also the Spanish word for “bridge.” Since 1985, the organization has offered a bridge to opportunity by addressing barriers preventing individuals in its at-risk neighborhoods from building strong educational foundations and achieving financial self-sufficiency. PUENTE provides California Standards-aligned classroom instruction to more than 4,100 children, youth, and adults annually. Its tuition-free services address the needs of the entire family – enabling children to develop a life-long love of learning, helping parents to be their children’s first teachers, supporting youth as they move toward high school graduation, and assisting adults in need of English-language competency and workforce skills.

Our Mission.Rainier Scholars cultivates the academic potential and leadership skills of hardworking, under-represented students of color.By creating access to transformative education and career opportunities and providing comprehensive support to scholars and families, we increase college graduation rates and empower new generations of leaders.

RiverQuest engages students and people of all ages in hands-on science learning experiences that develop critical thinking skills and promote awareness of our river ecosystems.

The San Francisco Education Fund mobilizes the community to support equitable access to a quality education for public school students through tutoring and mentoring, scholarships, teacher grants, and corporate school adoption.

Mission CYC empowers vulnerable children and young adults to overcome obstacles and succeed in education, career, and life. CYC makes a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable young people in 2nd grade through college by providing a range of services designed to keep kids in school, prepared for college and career, and on the pathway to success.

To educate the community as to the history of veterans through construction of a veterans memorial and to support veterans and their families through education scholarships.

Parents Connected is a grassroots group of parents dedicated to helping our children and other parents move successfully through school and college. By engaging other parents, community experts, and elected officials we will get our children the support they need for good public education. We will also work with each other so our children are successful at getting to and through college or work readiness where they can be self supporting and give back to their individual communities.

The Y.O.G.A. for Youth mission is to provide urban youth with tools of self discovery that foster hope, discipline and respect for self, others and community.
