The official body supporting Khan Academy in Bulgaria is the "Obrazovanie bez ranitsi" ("Education without backpacks") association

Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) was created in 2001 in response to the HIV crisis in western Kenya. It is built on a partnership between Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and the Moi University School of Medicine in Eldoret, Kenya, and a consortium of North American academic health centers, led by Indiana University. The partners joined forces to create one of Africa's largest, most comprehensive and effective HIV/AIDS management and control systems. AMPATH is a formal partner with the United States government through a $75 million grant from USAID and has continually expanded its successful HIV approach to into a more comprehensive primary health care system. With a tri-partite mission of care, education, and research, AMPATH provides healthcare services to a population of 3.5 million people in western Kenya and focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of the entire population-leaving no one behind.

Bring on the Books (BOB) aims to reroute gently-used books by connecting people who have books to children who have limited access to them.

Memphis Bears Inc. (MBI) is a non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1996, founded by Craig Littles. Our mission is to provide community based facilities and programs to empower, enrich and increase the participation levels among urban, multi-cultural, disadvantaged youth; which will create an exciting, structured atmosphere, foster educational growth, community volunteerism, and offer local and national organized sport competitions. From Books to Brilliance provides access to books and educational materials in impoverished communities. Countless children in our world grow up with no books. In Nicaragua and Guatemala, many of the rural poor live on less than one dollar a day. Without access to basic services such as potable water and sanitation, families struggle just to survive each day. Books are rarely found. At the local schools, teachers plan lessons and instruct with no textbooks. Children fortunate enough to attend school learn to read from words written on the blackboard, but without books cannot read to learn. Few children reach their intellectual potential. We believe that in creating access to books and information, a better future becomes possible for citizens living in abject poverty.
