Trafalgar School for Girls (donate via Trafalgar Ross Foundation)

Trafalgar School for Girls, founded in 1887, is an independent school offering a secondary school education to girls. A small school of 210 students, our strength lies in our ability to truly get to know each girl and to allow her a variety of opportunities to build on her strengths and understand and cope with her weaknesses. Activities include the arts, athletics, special interest groups, and community service with student initiative and leadership being critical to the success of these programs. Bursaries are available due to the generosity of parents and alumnae.

Established and operated by the students of Trent University, Trent Radio is designed with the production of exceptional radio in mind. Trent Radio's programmers are by definition amateurs - that is, they do radio for the love of it. Trent Radio is an organisation where people are learning and creating together. Its aims and objectives include producer-oriented programming and broad community participation for the production of creative local radio which reflects and animates Peterborough area communities, and sends out a clear signal of Peterborough's vigour and vibrancy to the world beyond.

While our work is national and international in scope, Triune Arts is a charity of Ontario based members who discount or donate their professional services. We receive generous discounts and donations from suppliers to the film, theatre and video industry as well as grants from the public and private sectors. Income is generated through tuition from workshops and from distribution of film and video productions. As it heads into its thirtieth year of operation, Triune Arts continues to specialize in developing film, video, multimedia, music and theatre related projects and developing communications skills for professionals.

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress UCC represents the Ukrainian Canadian community before the people and Government of Canada, promotes linkages with Ukraine and identifies and addresses the needs of the Ukrainian community in Canada to ensure its continued existence and development for the enhancement of Canada's socio-cultural fabric. Currently there are well over 1.2 million Canadians of Ukrainian background living in Canada. The Ukrainians first settled in Canada in the 1880’s and have developed strong communities in every region of Canada.

NATURE QUÉBEC

Founded in 1981, Nature Québec is a non-profit organization bringing together people and organizations interested in protecting the environment and working to encourage sustainable development practices. Central to its mission accomplishment, Nature Québec’s volunteer-based Environmental Commissions are mandated to address issues within their respective areas of expertise.
