The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe. Silent Heroes Foundation (SHF) believes in the One Health philosophy, whereby humans and animals are intricately connected to their environment. Indigenous Health Solutions is a trans-disciplinary collective of pioneers driven by a passion for service to the Earth, and the poorest and most remote communities on it. Through the lens of planetary health, where shifts in natural systems are prioritized in examination of human health, experts in conservation, health, anthropology, and business come together with those in need to craft and implement culturally informed and community led solutions for development. Our programs are built upon the foundational principle that development must be indigenous, that is, planned in partnership with those in need and rooted in the place of delivery, reflecting practical awareness of the interconnection between health, conservation, livelihood, and education.

CameroonONE is the first organization in Cameroon placing orphaned children in the household of surviving relatives while ensuring that they receive an education and proper healthcare within a secure family environment in order to bring hope and opportunity to a large population of the country's orphans.

Friends of Crowell Hilaka (aka FoCH. pronounced "folk" ) is a nonprofit advocacy group partnering with the Richfield Joint Recreation District to preserve, protect, enhance, and promote Richfield Heritage Preserve, formerly Girl Scout Camp Crowell Hilaka.

The mission of this organization is to educate motivated native Sub-Saharan Africans living in or near African National Parks who are interested in bettering their surrounding environment in a way that will contribute to (or at least not adversely impact) the conservation efforts of the National Park and/or wildlife-related research. This organization may also choose to help educate Africans not living in or near African National Parks, but those who want to study wildlife or conservation-related topics in African National Parks.
