COI is a California 501c3 environmental non-profit reducing ocean plastic pollution through Research, Innovation, and Direct Action. Through our Environmental Pollution Assessment Program (EPAP), communities learn a simple process to track changes in local plastic pollution. This data serves as a benchmark to evaluate the impact of mitigation initiatives. Also, we're actively engaged in introducing affordable and customized Portable Plastic Waste Conversion (PPWC) systems as part of our global initiative to provide local communities with effective plastic recycling solutions. Our current project is setting up a demonstration PPWC system for Santa Cruz, CA to illustrate PPWC capabilities to Silicon Valley tech and philanthropic communities.

Founded in 1992, Friends of the Presumpscot River is a non-profit organization, supported primarily by membership dues and small donations. Their mission is to protect and improve the water quality, indigenous fisheries, recreational opportunities, and natural character of the Presumpscot River.

Through collaboration with fishermen, scientists, educators, and communities, the Gulf of Maine Lobster Foundation is dedicated to protecting and sustaining a healthy lobster fishery and marine environment.

The mission of the Friends of Blue Hill Bay (FOBHB) is to conserve the natural ecology, sustainable marine fisheries, and unique aesthetic quality of Blue Hill Bay.

UVLT mission is to conserve, protect and steward our region’s lands for the health and resilience of nature and people: • Conserve lands that contribute to vibrancy and resilience of the Upper Valley (people and nature) now and in the future. Conserve land resilient to climate change; • Uphold conservation protections on the lands we conserve. Responsibly steward the lands we own to protect ecological systems and enhance adaptive capacity; • Engage and inspire people to care for land resources. The Newfound Lake Region Association's mission is to protect Newfound Lake and its watershed. The Association - through education, programs, and collaboration - promotes conservation and preservation of the region's natural, social, and economic resources.

Our live animal exhibits feature the amazing creatures that live in the rapidly changing Gulf of Maine ecosystem. Our engaging programs make learning about the ocean fun for everyone, from pre-K to senior rediscovery. Our hands-on science exhibits motivate families to become caretakers of our Blue Planet.We also operate the Seacoast Science Center Marine Mammal Rescue program, responding to marine mammals along the coast of NH and northern MA.

The Ipswich River has been named one of the most endangered in the nation due to extreme low-flow conditions. The Ipswich River Watershed Association (IRWA) serves as the voice of the Ipswich River and its watershed. We work to ensure ecological integrity, healthy fisheries, adequate stream flows, clean water, reliable drinking water supplies, and outstanding recreational opportunities for the region. IRWA is dedicated to using sound science and management tools to balance human uses of the river with ecosystem needs.
