The Alzheimer Society of Ontario’s Today’s Help, Tomorrow’s Cure Campaign is reaching out to the almost 150,000 Ontarians who have Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias (ADRD). By 2031 that number will increase by nearly 127%. That means that we will be caring for over 175,000 cases in 2010 and by 2031 there will be over 340,000 cases in the province. Our goal is to help persons with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias, their families and caregivers today, while engaging in research to put an end to this devastating disease. With your support we fund nationwide research to address the psychological and social aspects of AD such as care giving, family support and long-term care as well as biomedical investigations to find causes and treatments. The Alzheimer Society of Ontario helps local chapters deliver services by providing consultation as well as financial and educational support. In addition, we assist in program development, fundraising and supportive public policy.

The Alzheimer Society of B.C. is a non-profit provincial organization dedicated to helping people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, to supporting caregivers, to promoting public awareness, and to funding research into finding the cause and the cure. We help people: By funding medical research to find the cause of this disease, and then the cure; Through our support groups for people diagnosed with Alzheimer's and related dementias, and our support groups for caregivers/family members; By providing information and materials about the disease to families, and the general public; By offering additional resources through our lending libraries; By holding public education programs such as information forums, research updates, and advocacy workshops; By creating public awareness and understanding of the disease, and the existence of the Society; and through our Web site located at http://www.alzheimerbc.org. CGMH is a small community hospital serving approximately 60,000 full time residents and over 2.5 million weekenders and visitors annually. We are a major trauma unit and a regional orthopaedic center of excellence. Historically, government funding of CGMH has been barely adequate to cover operational costs such as salaries, medications, utilities and other supplies. As a result, over the past 15 years community support has been the only reliable source of funding to replace worn and outdated equipment/furnishings or to invest in new medical technology. CGMH Foundation is a volunteer led organization tasked with raising the funds necessary to ensure physicians and staff at CGMH have the tools and facilities they need to make fast, accurate diagnoses and deliver exceptional care. CGMH Foundation abides by Imagine Canada’s Ethical Fundraising Code and the Donor Bill of Rights.

The Alzheimer Society Sarnia-Lambton offers education, caregiver respite, support services & resource materials to people with Alzheimer's disease or releated dementias, family members, caregivers and service providers. Currently, there are over 2,500 people in Lambton County with dementia. This number is expected to triple in the next 25 years.

The disease with a thousand faces - Lupus is a disease that strikes by chance. It can deal out many symptoms that are frightening. It can cause blood disorders, affect the joints, the heart, the skin, the kidneys... the list is long and frightening. This disease can affect any man, woman or child. There is no cure.

In response to aging CT technology and an increasing need for medical scans, the Foundation is raising $2.5 Million for a new CT Scanner in 2014. Thank you for your generous support!

The Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County is a registered non-profit charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Society works in partnership with the Cape Breton District Health Authority Palliative Care Service and other community programs to meet the many needs of palliative care patients and their families.

The Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation raises funds for Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH), Dufferin Place Extended Care Facility (Nanaimo), Eagle Park Health Care Facility (Qualicum Beach), Trillium Lodge (Parksville) and the Oceanside Health Centre (Parksville). The Neurofibromatosis Society of Ontario was founded in 1985. We hold bi-annual meetings in the Toronto area with related guest speakers. We offer an opportunity for people with NF to network and share their feelings and concerns with others through social activities in a friendly atmosphere of acceptance.

The Heart Institute is a regional facility serving our local communities within the Champlain District and western Quebec. The Heart Institute is a resource to the province, the rest of Canada, and the international community. The Heart Institute is committed to basic and clinical research which adds new knowledge.
