The mission of the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County is to improve the quality of life of persons who are impacted by Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. We provide support to a rapidly growing number of families dealing with dementia. With over 400 families being currently served, our ability to meet their needs depends heavily on the generosity of donors in the community. Our services include individual and group support and coping strategies, for persons with dementia, their families and their caregivers, public awareness, supporting research, and advocating for improved dementia care services.
At present, we serve over 700 clients and their families in the Brooks and County of Newell area on a monthly basis. Clients have access to a food hamper every 6 weeks and fresh bread and produce every 2 weeks based on their needs.
Community Support Services of Niagara is a volunteer based not-for-profit agency providing comprehensive client-driven community support services to help seniors and adults with disabilities live independently in their own homes. CSSN staff feels that their daily work is meaningful; impacts those in the community and allows our clients to live their lives to the fullest. Services include: Homemaking, Meals on Wheels, Lunch Out, Transportation, Friendly Visiting, Phone Chat, Home Maintenance & Repair, Safety at Home.

The Fragile X Research Foundation of Canada is dedicated to raising awareness of and funding research for Fragile X Syndrome – the most common inherited form of mental impairment in the world. While Fragile X individuals have a normal life expectancy, most will need support and care for their entire lives – a key reason why a cure is so imperative.
Community Concerns for the Medically Fragile (CCMF) is a volunteer-driven group dedicated to meeting the needs of medically fragile children and young adults in the Sarnia-Lambton community. Moreover, we strive to assist families with medically fragile children/young adults in their day-to-day challenges, both financially and emotionally, and to raise public awareness about the unique characteristics of the individuals we represent. Our goal is to support medically fragile children and young adults, while recognizing their uniqueness, and their rights to dignity and quality of life. We use the term "medically fragile" to refer to individuals requiring 24-hour medical supervision and intervention, due to conditions such as cererbal palsy, severe epilepsy, paraplegia, etc. These individuals may be technologically dependent, as well as mentally and/or physically challenged.

The Foundation’s goal is to lead the spirit of philanthropy to enrich health care for Atlantic Canadians, and in the process help support the health sciences centre’s quest to become a world-leading haven for patient centred health and healing. The QEII Foundation supports excellence in patient care through the purchase of advanced patient technology, the promotion of in-service education and the advancement of medical research by fostering goodwill in the community. ALIES has two current projects; The Back Porch, an 11th hour ministry directed to educating abortion minded men and women who come into the house seeking help, and Abortion Breast Cancer Link Billboard, which is put up once a year on a highway to help bring awareness to Albertans on the link between abortion and breast cancer.
