K9s For Warriors is dedicated to ending Veteran Suicide through the use of highly trained Service Dogs. With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery. AWOM hosts support groups for individuals who have lost a loved one in both Miami and New York called Time Talks. In addition, we host Halloween parties for both Miami Children's Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, as well as provide meals for over 200 families at Olsen Middle School. During Christmas time, AWOM hosts a toy drive for families in need. Most importantly, AWOM has expanded into a direction for future female leaders with AWOM Girls Club at Olsen Middle School.
