Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction. PVA will use that expertise to be the leading advocate for: - Quality health care for our members - Research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction - Benefits available as a result of our members military service - Civil rights and opportunities which maximize the independence of our members and all people with disabilities. For more than 60 years, PVA has fought for our veterans who answered the call when our nation asked for their service . . . and in return, they have given up their freedoms to protect ours.

K9s For Warriors is dedicated to ending Veteran Suicide through the use of highly trained Service Dogs. With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery. The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding and developing novel research and clinical trials to find less toxic, more effective treatments for childhood cancer. Our purpose is to reduce the side effects of current treatments, improve survival rates, and ultimately eliminate childhood cancer. NPCF is a nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. At the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, we are aggressively pursuing measurable change in how pediatric cancer research is approached and funded through our collaborative research consortium, the Sunshine Project. The Sunshine Project’s one-of-a-kind research model focuses on translational studies and phase 0, 1, and 2 clinical trials that address a multitude of different pediatric cancers. Our innovative approach capitalizes on the strengths of researchers from various scientific fields throughout the country, streamlining the protocol development process to deliver more personalized medicine to children with cancer. This utilization of scientific and philanthropic partnerships allows us to fast-track potential new therapies with less toxicity into clinical trials. The treatment options currently being discovered bring great promise for children who have not experienced positive results under the standard treatment protocol.

The Community Hospice is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program. We are part of St. Peter's Health Partners, and are privileged to work with every hospital in the region to provide hospice services. We serve more than 4,300 seriously ill patients and their families a year. The elderly, terminally ill and dying are among the most vulnerable people in our society. Incredible advances in medical care and social services haven’t ended the tragedy of people dying alone or in pain. Meeting that need is our mission: The Community Hospice serves seriously ill people and their families during the process of dying and grieving. We enhance quality of life with comprehensive, compassionate services that respect the dignity of those we serve. And we offer that help and comfort in eight counties in upstate New York: Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Columbia, Greene, Montgomery and Washington.

We believe in keeping families together during a child's medical crisis, and that the gentle cadence of normal family life has a powerful influence on the healing process. Believe In Tomorrow has provided more than a quarter of a million overnight accommodations to children from every state in the United States. Our programs include Children's Hospital and Retreat Housing and Hands On Adventures that provide ongoing support to children and families from the child's diagnosis to the end of the treatment process.
