The ​THANC (Thyroid, Head and Neck Cancer) Foundation​ is an international, independent non-profit with a core mission to help patients and educate physicians. It is dedicated to supporting research and education in the early detection and treatment of thyroid, and head & neck cancers. THANC is actively committed to advancing new therapies and alleviating the suffering and functional impairment of patients who undergo treatment.

Since 1981, the John Wayne name has been committed by the Wayne family to groundbreaking cancer research and education in memory of their father who died of cancer. The John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John's Health Center is a cancer research institute dedicated to the understanding and curing of cancer in order to eliminate patient suffering worldwide. Our mission is accomplished through innovative clinical and laboratory research and the education of the next generation of surgical oncologists and scientists. In fulfilling its mission, the John Wayne Cancer Institute: * Conducts innovative research focusing on biological mechanisms to provide new understandings of the cause, diagnosis, control, and cure of cancer. * Provides training for new generations of surgical scientists who study and treat cancer. * Offers unique experimental treatment services to rapidly develop and test new forms of diagnosis and therapy in order to improve the quality of life and expected survival of those afflicted with cancer. The Institute has received worldwide acclaim for advances in melanoma (skin cancer), breast and colon cancer as well as immune therapy of cancer. Other areas of research include prostate and liver cancer. At JWCI, the close relationship between research and clinical care, combined with the multidisciplinary expertise of our specialists, produces the best science, the best medicine, and the greatest hope for our patients.

CareBOX Program provides free essential care supplies to cancer patients to help prevent malnutrition, infections, and falls.

SebastianStrong Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is raising awareness of childhood cancers and funding research for less toxic, more targeted childhood cancer treatments and cures. SebastianStrong was founded in 2017 to honor the life of Sebastian Ortiz (2000-2016) and his courageous 14-month battle with rhabdomyosarcoma. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to fund new and cutting-edge medical research across the country in the hopes of one day eradicating childhood cancers. The Foundation also provides financial support to assist kids and their families with the hardships of battling cancer. Tenaciously Teal (T. Teal) is a non-profit dedicated to supporting cancer fighters and their families. The mission is to provide love, community, empowerment, support, and resources to those battling cancer. T. Teal delivers Cancer Care Packs monthly to treatment centers across Oklahoma and mails care packs nationwide upon request. Tenaciously Teal has distributed more than 50,000 care packs since 2013. T. Teal also provides financial assistance to fighters in need and offers concierge-style Brave Shave & Empowerment Shoots for those facing hair loss from cancer treatment.

At The Cancer Support Center, we work to provide hope, help, and strength through our holistic programs and services, created and delivered personally, virtually, and in ideal settings by professional therapists, counselors, nutritionists, and healthcare experts. With five distinct areas of programming, we work to improve the quality of life in our participants near and far at no cost, thanks to the dedication of our various donors who know how critical it is for people to not just survive, but to thrive.

Bringing Hope Home provides Unexpected Amazingness to Local Families going through cancer treatment through financial and emotional support. Area of service is concentrated in SE PA, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

Founded in 1957, the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation of California is the first and oldest, non-profit, social service sickle cell disease agency in the U.S. The MISSION of the SCDFC is to provide life- enhancing programs and services to individuals with sickle cell disease, to broaden public aware- ness about sickle cell disease and to promote medical research to find a cure. Currently approximately 250 million people worldwide carry the gene responsible for sickle cell disease (SCD) and other hemoglobin diseases. Each year about 300,000 infants are born with a major hemoglobin disease worldwide. In the US, 10% of the population is at risk for SCD. It is estimated that there are approx. 5,000 persons with sickle cell disease in Los Angeles.

UBCF’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. We aid in providing screening, treatment, after-care, educational material, patient and family assistance and information. UBCF provides grants to hospitals and community health centers to benefit patients and families coping with breast cancer. We strive to alleviate the stress and strain that cancer can cause to patients and families and to foster health and well-being through both traditional and holistic treatments by never denying anyone service regardless of age, race, gender or income.

We fund clinical trials for all types of cancers and prioritize only the most cutting-edge research that can help patients TODAY. Gateway invests in next generation patient-centric cancer research in order to drive transformational advances and breakthroughs in cancer treatment.
