The mission of the Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara is to ensure that adults and children impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community.

SebastianStrong Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is raising awareness of childhood cancers and funding research for less toxic, more targeted childhood cancer treatments and cures. SebastianStrong was founded in 2017 to honor the life of Sebastian Ortiz (2000-2016) and his courageous 14-month battle with rhabdomyosarcoma. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to fund new and cutting-edge medical research across the country in the hopes of one day eradicating childhood cancers. The Foundation also provides financial support to assist kids and their families with the hardships of battling cancer. The mission of Learn Advocate Connect Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (LACNETS) is to provide a community of support and education for patients/those with neuroendocrine cancer and to advocate for all people impacted by this rare disease by expanding awareness and by voicing the patient’s perspective in collaborative dialogue with healthcare professionals. We aim to positively impact the quality of life of those with neuroendocrine cancer by offering support and expanded access to information on diagnosis, treatment options, research and resources. LACNETS provides a venue/makes it possible for patients to share experiences, encouragement and hope.

We provide hope, education, and support to sarcoma patients and their families in the Pacific Northwest, while investing in research to improve cure rates for sarcoma cancers.

Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $2.2 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

To provide psychological, nutritional and emergency financial support to cancer patients and their families. We support cancer patients and their families, in Vermont and Northern New York in a time of extraordinary need, by providing financial assistance, underwriting counseling services, and acting as a resource during diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
