Our Purpose We were founded on the belief that women must take a leadership role in shaping society’s direction in order to achieve equity and equality for all women. To that end, we are part of the oldest and largest women’s social service organization in Canada. We have been providing professional and accessible services for women and their families at the YWCA Edmonton for over 100 years. BC Children's Hospital Foundation raises money to support excellence and innovation in care, treatment and research and BC Children's Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and the Child & Family Research Institute. The Foundation's activities include major gift fundraising, planned giving and a wide variety of annual programs. As steward of philanthropic donations to Children's Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre and the Child & Family Research Institute, the Foundation issues charitable receipts and ensures donations are allocated to the areas to which donors have designated their support. The Foundation is currently engaged in the $200-million Campaign for BC Children to build a new children's hospital and ensure all BC children have access to a consistent standard of pediatric care.

For more than 30 years Ronald McDonald House Toronto has been fulfilling its mission to provide a “home away from home” for seriously ill children and their families to heal better together. Ronald McDonald House Toronto offers a place for sleeping, schooling, working, cooking and playing. It also provides vital therapeutic programs that help sick children, their siblings and their parents get to a better place emotionally. More recently, Ronald McDonald House Toronto has expanded its mission to include the in-hospital Family Room Program.

Children's Health Foundation is the charitable fundraising resource for Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre,Children's Health Research Institute and Thames Valley Children's Centre Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre is the designated referral centre for specialized medical care for children in the region and the paediatric teaching hospital of the University of Western Ontario. Children's Health Research Institute, at Lawson Health Research Institute, is the research arm of Children's Hospital of Western Ontario. Thames Valley Children's Centre is a regional rehabilitation centre for children and young adults with physical disabilities, communication disorders.

The Children's Hosptial of Eastern Ontario Foundation raises funds for CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) by soliciting donations, receiving planned gifts, bequests and grants and by organizing special events and lotteries.

LAMP C.H.C. is Community Health Centre in South Etobicoke, Toronto West. A Community Health Centre is a charitable, non-profit community based organization that provides a variety of integrated programs and services to meet the health needs of the community.

The Kelowna General Hospital Foundation aspires to be a leader in the facilitation and promotion of quality health care by funding innovative and effective programs through the commitment of its members and donors.

For over forty years, The King’s Daughters Dinner Wagon, a not-for-profit agency now known as Meals on Wheels, has been dedicated to providing nutritious meals, daily companionship and comfort with a smile.

As the largest specialized or 'tertiary' centre east of Toronto our programs are aimed at treating people with complex and serious mental illnesses that are often resistant to conventional treatments. In addition to inpatient beds, the majority of these programs feature day treatment options and outreach activities for patients living in the community. Each and every one of us has a personal connection to mental illness given that one out of every five people in Canada is affected. They are our mothers, brothers, colleagues and friends – they are those we know and love and we want to ensure they receive the very best care when they need it.
