DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity which believes in the power of ice hockey to benefit both able-bodied and disabled amateur ice hockey players, and their families dealing with crisis. We strive to give everyone opportunity to gain independence and confidence they need to perform in the face of adversity, on or off the ice. With the fantastic support of the ice hockey community we host and sponsor participation for athletes in a variety of national and international amateur ice hockey events, and we also provide aid and support to deserving candidates, in times of need. Brain tumors are now the leading cause of cancer deaths of children and young adults. The emotional and financial devastation it causes to families is unacceptable. The cure will eventually be found. We intend to speed up the process by speeding up the exchange of information - networking with the researchers, patient groups and other nonprofits; raising money for research; advocating for change;  hosting conferences and running research projects.   Until that happens, we will help support families dealing with brain tumors by educating them on the choices they have to make, help find options for them, and even help them get access to the treatments they need with both our advocacy program and our copayment assistance program

EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS WITH VISION LOSS TO ATTAIN INDEPENDENCE.

We're helping Bostonians lead healthier lives by promoting the everyday use of the bicycle for transportation. Among other things, we repair bikes, educate new riders, and organize neighborhood residents who would like to voice support for friendlier street designs, bike paths, and public spaces.

Their mission at Fish River Rural Health (FRRH) is to provide access to comprehensive primary and preventive care of the highest quality to the underserved population and to improve the health care status of the residents of the Upper St. John Valley.

They provide canine-assisted therapy to the public in schools, hospitals, libraries, nursing, and healing facilities and for other community organizations throughout the Fox Valley area. In achieving this mission, the club also functions to further advance and refine the therapy skills of experienced handlers and their canine counterparts. This is accomplished through participation in seminars, specialized training sessions, and unique educational opportunities that build our proficiency and strengthen the dog and handler bond in a fun, encouraging and supportive environment.

The Vanishing White Matter Foundation was established in 2011 to raise funds to support VWM specific research. The Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization, and you contribution is tax deductible.
