TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE OF WASHINGTON STATE. IN 2014, WHF MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO END ITS PERSONAL HEALTH ADVOCATE PROGRAM AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AND ESSENTIALLY SUSPENDED OPERATIONS AS THE BOARD EVALUATED ITS OPTIONS. IN 2015, THE BOARD CONTINUED TO ASSESS ITS FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES AND ALSO CONCLUDED THAT IT WAS BEST TO ALLOW ANY POSSIBLE PAST CONTINGENT LIABILITIES TO BE IDENTIFIED AND SATISFIED BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER. THE FOUNDATION BOARD HAS NOT IDENTIFIED ANY SUCH LIABILITIES BUT HAS DECIDED TO MAINTAIN ITS CURRENT LIMITED APPROACH FOR ANOTHER YEAR OR TWO.
