Founded in 1918, JFS is one of San Diego’s most trusted and comprehensive non-profit human services agencies. Our broad network of staff, volunteers, supporters, and community partners are committed to the pursuit of helping individuals and families in San Diego move forward.

Jewish Family Services (JFS) has stood the test of time. Founded in 1901 as United Jewish Charities, JFS was one of the founding agencies of United Way of Greater Kansas City. From crisis to chronic challenge, mental to spiritual struggle, physical to psychic pain, birth to end of life, JFS provides a breadth of services: Food, Shelter and Employment, Older Adult Programs, Mental Health Services, Family Life Education, and Chaplaincy. Throughout its over 112-year history, JFS has responded to the needs of all Kansas Citians, regardless of religion, race or economic status; over half of the 5,000 individuals we serve each year are not Jewish.

JFS Orlando's mission is to provide vital, high-quality and innovative social services to people in need. Services are provided to the community regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, age, gender or disability. 

Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley helps members of our community successfully meet the challenges of daily life by providing quality human services. 

KIDS Center is dedicated to the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of child abuse.

Our Mission is to prevent child abuse and to aid child abuse victims and families by providing coordinated services in a safe, child-friendly environment from report and investigation through treatment and resolution. To accomplish this mission, Kids House provides a unique child friendly facility for information gathering and treatment for victims of abuse.

The Memphis Child Advocacy Center's mission is to serve children who are victims of sexual and physical abuse through prevention, education, and intervention.

Our Kids provides medical evaluations and crisis counseling services for children and caregivers when there are allegations or concerns of child sexual abuse. Our Kids is committed to increasing community awareness, conducting research and offering education and training about child maltreatment.

Genesis School offers creative approaches to learning by adapting to each student's needs. We are committed to fostering a welcoming learning environment for young people to support their efforts and aspirations, while celebrating their value and endless potential. Our core beliefs: * We are committed to academic achievement and excellence in education. * Students deserve a fresh start on their educational journey. * Learning structures should be adaptable to meet individual needs. * Effective education requires a partnership between school and parent. * Effective learning requires appropriate resources and qualified staff. * Caring, qualified teachers and a specialized staff can make all the difference in turning a young person's life around. Our responsibility is vast because Genesis Promise Academy is the only charter school in the Kansas City area serving at-risk and high-risk inner city youth during those vulnerable years, grades kindergarten - 8. We know how to address the special needs of young people and have been doing so for over 30 years. We have a proven track record. And when we are successful keeping young people in school, we help fortify the community's skill base and enhance family cohesiveness.

The mission statement of the agency reads, "Based on the teachings of Christ, Children's Foundation of Mid-America provides compassionate and therapeutic social, psychological and educational services to children and families of all faiths." In response to the needs of hurting children and their families, it is our intention to continue to be creative in serving the needs of children who have been neglected or abused, or who are at risk. Children's Foundation wants to enable each child to become a strong contributing member of our society.
