Watson Children's Shelter is dedicated to providing emergency shelter care in a safe and nurturing environment to children who have experienced abuse, neglect and/or family crisis. Our primary intervention program, Healthy Foundations, works with expecting families in our community from prenatal care through 3-5 years of age, providing support and connecting parents to resources that will allow them to provide the lives they wish for their children. We serve over 100 children through our shelter care facility each year, for days, weeks, months, or years at a time, reaching all of Montana from the heart of Missoula. Watson has continued to grow over the years, and our vision for the future would allow us to provide more personalized therapeutic care across the duration of our children's stays. Abundant Blessings House of Hope's mission is to offer a supportive and safe place to learn trust, independence, and self-worth during pregnancy. We want women to understand that there are alternatives to abortions and will support them and help them find resources to either keep and raise their babies or find a fair and acceptable adoption option. We use resources such as teaching basic life skills, job seeking skills, and, on the therapeutic side, horses to teach trust and communication. We believe that where these women currently are is simply a snapshot, not a definition of who they are. Everyone has the ability to soar on wings like eagles if only given the eyes to see the opportunity and the belief that they can.

YWCA Pierce County is dedicated to transforming lives through safety, healing, and empowerment. As an inclusionary non-profit organization, YWCA Pierce County aids survivors of domestic violence and their children throughout the healing process. All survivors are welcome regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity or expression, religion, or sexual orientation. As the largest provider of domestic violence services in our region, the YWCA serves 8,000 adults and children annually, who are seeking help due to domestic violence. Our current services can be divided into four main categories: Therapeutic Services, Support Shelter and Services, Legal Services, and Community Programs.

New Beginnings empowers survivors and mobilizes community awareness and action to end domestic violence.

Founded in 1979, DVSAS' mission is to support individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation and to lead the community towards ending these abuses of power. Programs and services are provided throughout Whatcom County, WA without prejudice or cost. DVSAS envisions a safe, equitable community, free from the oppressions that lead to gender-based violence, where all individuals feel valued and respected.

LifeWire's mission is to end domestic violence by changing individual, institutional and societal beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors that perpetuate it. Domestic violence knows no boundaries; occurring in families from all racial and socio-economic backgrounds, domestic violence affects 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men in their lifetimes. LifeWire envisions a world in which every person lives in a safe environment, free from oppression and with the opportunity to thrive. LifeWire is a nationally recognized leader and the largest comprehensive domestic violence service provider in Washington State. We offer a 24-Hour Helpline, survivor-based advocacy, mental health therapy, innovating homelessness and housing stability services, and ground-breaking social change work.

Founded in 1978, Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) helps diverse communities in Alameda County heal from domestic violence and sexual assault, advocating for justice and healthy relationships. They provide survivor-centered legal and crisis intervention services, offer prevention education for youth and other community members, and engage in policy work to create systemic change.

Sojourner Center's mission is to overcome the impact of domestic violence, one life at a time.

STAND! For Families Free of Violence is a catalyst for breaking the multi-generational cycle of violence, promoting safe and strong relationships, and rebuilding lives. Each year we serve more than 10,000 men, women, and children through our comprehensive, life-changing services.

The Anacortes Family Center's mission is to serve homeless women, children and families in crisis by providing shelter in addition to comprehensive transformational services to achieve long lasting personal success and self-sufficiency, and to prevent homelessness in our community through advocacy and by providing affordable housing options. AFC's unique approach has led to the distinction of being one of the most successful shelters in the state at helping clients achieve self-sufficiency. Last year AFC served the most vulnerable clients* and over 80% of our clients graduated successfully - finding a permanent place to call home and a job to support the household.*Measured with the objective tool used by all homeless programs called the “Vulnerability index”.
