The Coro New York Leadership Center was founded on the principle that an informed and engaged citizenry and broad public participation are critical to a vital democratic society. We are committed to equipping individuals of all ages and from all backgrounds with the knowledge and skills they need to play active leadership roles across the public, private and non-profit sectors. We teach Coro participants how policy decisions are made in New York, the avenues that exist for citizen participation, and the skills they need to effect change on behalf of the cause or community to which they are committed.

Council for Children's Rights’ (CFCR) mission is to improve the lives and futures of children in Mecklenburg County through legal representation, individual advocacy, and by addressing community-wide issues through research and policy work. CASA of Collin County promotes and protects the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected by training volunteer advocates to improve the child’s quality of life and serve as their voice within the court system to ensure they are placed in a safe, permanent and loving home.
