The Spectrum Center was founded in 2014 with the purpose of being a resource and an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in and around Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Spectrum Center is serving as a host location for meetings for various groups affiliated with the LGBTQ+ community. Currently, we have free HIV testing and other health-related functions through collaboration with the greater community; social functions and support groups. However, long-term plans include providing counseling, a community kitchen and pantry; and short-term emergency housing for LGBTQ+ youth who have been displaced.
JQ celebrates the lives of LGBTQ+ Jews and their allies by transforming Jewish communities, and ensuring inclusion through education, support, and identity-enrichment. JQ envisions a world where all LGBTQ+ Jews feel a strong sense of self, pride, and community - a place where LGBTQ+ Jews and their allies are supported by communities that embrace their needs and celebrate their unique gifts. Benefiting LGBTQ+ Jews and allies of all ages, JQ’s programs have impacted more than 14,000 lives in the LGBTQ+ and ally Jewish community in the past year alone.

Legal Voice, founded in 1978 as the Northwest Women's Law Center, pursues justice for all women and girls in the Northwest, through ground-breaking litigation, legislative advocacy, and legal rights education. We serve Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska. We create social change through these legal tools: Litigation: We bring cases that change the law for women and their families in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. We also participate as amicus curiae (friend of the court) in cases affecting women throughout the nation. Legislative Advocacy: We draft, analyze, and advocate for bills affecting women and their families in Washington State, and provide assistance and model legislation to advocates around the region. Education: We empower people to make decisions and advocate for themselves and their families through our education materials and community forums.
The OUTMUSIC Awards (OMAs) is the biggest night in LGBT music & entertainement presented by LARA the LGBT Academy of Recording Arts. Their mission is to educate, raise awareness and ensure that the contributions and achievements of marginalized LGBT are acknowledged, documented, celebrated and included in media, music and entertainment history. To support their missions, they film the OUTMUSIC Awards live to tape.
