RIA, Inc. – ready•inspire•act is a nonprofit organization in MA supporting, and standing with, women with experience in the commercial sex trade by providing a range of community-based services. We practice the power of presence.RIA's premier program offers Accompaniment which is an intentional, trauma-informed approach to care that requires a deep and personal understanding of how power held over another human being damages a person's sense of safety and control over her own life and circumstances. Our model, ​Sisters Leading Sisters, incorporates clinical and healing practices in every step of support. These practices include survivor professional mentorship and advocacy, weekly virtual groups, case management, and clinical therapy.Services are facilitated by skilled women with lived experiences of sexual exploitation/prostitution, addiction, chronic illness, dv, and homelessness. We use an action-oriented, relational approach to fostering self-esteem and self-actualization. We bring compassionate community to the people we meet.

To serve Asian and Pacific islander and other underserved women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking by providing a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven, job training and community services.

Middle Way House works to support all survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; and to educate the community through outreach and prevention programs.

Background: After a tragic car accident in 2011 that resulted in having an 18 year old young teenager to be a wheelchair user; his mother along with a group of 13 friends decided to make a difference when it comes to physical disability in Egypt and the Middle East after the challenges they faced and still are. Vision: To be the leading example developmental foundation in Egypt, Middle East and Africa that embrace wheelchair/physical disabilities with emphasis on endless possibilities. Mission: Alhassan Foundation is determined to providing "tailored solutions", facilities, re-habilitation and re-occupation for humans on wheelchairs, and their families to overcome their challenges and make best use of their different abilities. 1. Quality rehabilitation and reoccupation for wheelchair users changes individuals to be of value added to society rather than a burden. 7. Improved living facilities e.g. ramps, equipped cars, buses etc 10. 5% hiring among companies & SME projects for less educated. 11. Promote & enhance suitable sports activities. (Tennis; Basket; Bow/Arrow; Swimming; Table Tennis..etc) 12. Supporting humans with disabilities should be a "sustained constitutional right" and not optional service or charity in Egypt. 13. Translate/support writing books that represent physical challenges to be reference for others in Egypt & Middle East. 14. Humans with challenges deserve not only to live, but to live happily. The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) is a trans-national disaster aid alliance that works to facilitate cooperation and understanding between governments, private companies and NGOs in the Asia Pacific region. We will facilitate collaboration among the member countries for the purpose of delivering effective and efficient disaster assistance through disaster preparedness, risk reduction, relief and recovery. Each country, however, sends their team separately, and their rescue efforts are often conducted independently of each other. It is true that each country is trying to do its best in rescuing disaster victims. Yet, if we could reach a pre-agreement, not merely among nations but also between different sectors, to act together to fight any future disaster... We would be able to deliver even more efficient and effective disaster aid to even more people, in even less time.

Future Families is a non-profit organisation rendering quality services to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Our objective is to keep children in their families. This is sometimes a new type of family - a Granny-headed family, a youth-headed family or even a child-headed family. We empower the community to care for the family and create support to ensure the family can successfully raise balanced children who will become responsible members of the community.

Since 1953, the mission of their shelter has been to provide a haven for Huron county residents to safely surrender their animals when unforeseen circumstances come up. We accept dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals. We are unable to accept stray or outdoor cats and all stray or lost dogs must go to the Huron County Dog Warden.
