Since 1890, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) has been a global leader in research and education. The international scientific community at CSHL provides a unique and stimulating atmosphere for doctoral research—an environment where students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty work side-by-side. The Watson School of Biological Sciences (WSBS) was founded on the belief that with well thought-out mechanisms, enthusiastic involvement of faculty, and highly motivated students, an innovative curriculum could be provided that would allow students to earn a doctoral degree in a shorter time than in traditional programs without compromising the quality of their training. The curriculum is designed to train students to become scholars and independent thinkers.

To reduce the burden of human cancer, research conducted at the Institute for Cancer Research of Fox Chase Cancer Center for over eight decades has led to ground-breaking discoveries affecting science and medicine today. Current research programs are wide-ranging and include gene expression; molecular aspects of oncogenesis; viral molecular biology and pathogenesis; molecular structure and function analysis; pharmacology and therapeutics; regulation and development of the immune system; cell-cycle control; and human genetics. CodeCreate guides participants in the creation and appreciation of intuitively based technology combined with artistic expressions, especially within basic circuitry, robotics and computer programming, media arts, illustration, 3D design and performing arts.

The Pureland Project's purpose is to support and encourage sustainable living rooted in human-nature connection. We provide sustainability and wellness education and resources to communities, promoting indigenous wisdom of conscious, connected living around the world.

To manifest film and media projects that explore our shared humanity and foster an appreciation of the natural world. Our media education program works with filmmakers from under-served communities and balances intensive film production with important skills training while enabling young filmmakers to share their stories and ideas with the world.
